MaryK | 168 comments So, Joe Manganiello is the narrator for the audio version of Patricia Briggs' Dragon Bones. Check out his picture. It's number four. He actually kind of looks like how I pictured Ward! Not that I advocate picking a narrator on looks. But still. ;)

Vic (vicaet) | 494 comments Speaking of Dragon Bones - I just finished listening! Joe was actually Alcide on True Blood this last season. I thought his reading of the book was pretty good but will need to re-listen. I hadn't read this book before and found myself getting lost quite a bit (especially at the beginning) due to names being very similar and being somewhat distracted. Overall, I enjoyed the book and am eagerly awaiting the next book in this duo logy!

I've read the book and liked it a lot so I put it on my list to try when I saw it on Audible. I just hope Audible has a decent sample.

I almost always have to have read the book first. It's like I need an overall view to keep from getting lost along the way.

Vic (vicaet) | 494 comments I couldn't wait for book 2 in audio so I got the ebook (love that kindle instant gratification!) and just finished it. Loved the books!

Brenda Audiobooks Only | 631 comments Thanks for these comments, I love Briggs and I've put Dragon Bones on my wish list.

I'm halfway through Masques with Wolfsbane waiting. Katherine Kellgren is excellent.

I'm forcing myself to take a break from PNR and fantasy so my mind is fresh and ready for my re-listen of KMM's addictive Fever series, with Shadowfever due out 1/18/11.

Maybe by then the second book, Dragon Blood will have been released in audio too.

Vic (vicaet) | 494 comments Does anyone know when Patricia Briggs's book 2 on this series comes out in audio?

Christina | 54 comments I just came across a column from Booklist praising the audio work of Katherine Kellgren. She's not a narrator I am familar with, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone is interested in looking up her work.

Dee (austhokie) | 1379 comments I just saw Dragon Blood on Audible, if anyone is still waiting on it - and its part of their summer sale, so its only $15 if you buy it without using credits

Xe Sands (xesands) | 369 comments Quick heads-up that an avid audiobook listener I follow on Twitter (@guildedearlobe) will be posting an interview with Phil Gigante early next week. Not sure that he will touch on Gigante's prowess in the romance genre, but thought I would mention it here as I know many of you are Gigante fans :)
