When I first started the series I wasn't too sure I liked Derek all that much. But as the serties progressed, I grew to love him. Not just because he started looking better (I always pictured him kind of sexy) but his attitude improved and he started to click with Chloe. While reading this series I went through a mix of emotion regarding both Simon and Derek. At most points I wanted Chloe to end up with Derek, even in the beginning, but Simon also had his moments. But when Derek started growing on me, Simon kind of turned into a pain in the ass. I am in love with Derek and Chloe's relationship. Derek turns into a really great guy as the series progresses and in some ways it's kind of sweet how he tries to stay away from Chloe for his brother. And their awkward scenes like when he gives her the camera...so cute.<33 But my absolute favorite scenes are when Derek is struggling with his changes and needs Chloe there with him.
