Absolutely brilliant. I can only explain how incredibly awesome this book is by telling you: I highlited (almost) all of the book. :)
I loved this book! It made me really consider how I view other people. A book is truly great when it makes you stop and think about yourself and your values in a new way.
I agree with you! After I put this book down I was still thinking about it for days. What I took from this book was amazing.
I loved everything about this book; it literally took me a day to finish it. The only thing I wasn't quite fond of was the ending. It seemed like it could have had a better finish to an amazing novel.
I will disagree with you till the end of the earth, Giovanna. What did you want, for Q to take Margo back to Orlando with him? That would have ruined the point of the entire novel. I think the ending is what makes the book so beautiful and meaningful.
I loved Paper Towns the whole way through and read it as fast as I could once I started it. Altogether it was another amazing John Green book filled with good one liners and metaphors galore, but the ending left something to be desired. Although the conflict is resolved at the end I feel that this book deserved a more in depth finish.
The last John Green book I read and immediately one of my favorites. The adventure is great the ending is perfect and the whole thing really makes you think about the person you are vs. the person you let people believe you are. That message really hit home with me. Throughout high school I was constantly trying to create a persona for myself so no one could learn who I really was to protect myself from being rejected. I grew past this awhile ago but it was amazing to see what I went through in Margo and made me realize I'm not the only person who had that struggle. It's always an experience for me when I realize that other people think the way I do. Makes me look at the world in a whole new way.
This was the first John Green book I ever read and I absolutely loved it!! All of the characters were so relatable, and the way the book itself was written was so easy to read! Although, I dislike Margo. Come to think of it, I don't think I like any of Green's female characters. I love them as part of the story, but I just don't like them.
This is the second book I've read of John Green...What do I think of this book? I love it! I love the characters especially Q, Ben and Radar... Their friendship is quite awesome. Their banters are hilarious and made me lol! Margo also got on my nerves but I got over her because of Q. He's such a good character! Perfectly Imperfect and a good friend. I like the how to story goes from a set of silly pranks to a deeper journey about a person's perception about each others. Its a great books!
This is a great book by John Green. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of The Fault in our Stars. I love Paper Towns!!
Really loved this book, it was the first I read by John Green and is what got me into reading the rest of his amazing books.
OMG I LOOOOVED this book! But Margo pretty much annoyed me at the end when she left Quinn just like that right after he's been searching all over for her and her safety. I actually feel pity for Quinn. He did so much but all he gets back is a girl who leaves him right after he's been working his tail off to finding her for days. But that's a good thing, I guess... That John Green actually got me "attached" or something to one of the characters in his book. :)
This book was great I loved but I regret reading The Fault In Our Stars first because I'm scared that I won't like any of his other books because they aren't to The Fault in Our Stars standards
With the order that the books came into my library, I thankfully read TFioS last. Still, all his books are great. I really liked Paper Towns, it lived up to my John Green expectations when I read it.
I believe that part of the greatness of his female characters is their will and drive to do what they please. it gets extremely frustrating but I kind of end up enjoying them because they don't turn out like you would expect; ie. Margo doesn't come home with them once they find her in New York. Sure Margo seems extremely selfish and crazy but isn't that a part of life? shes curious and she is her own person and I think that builds to John Green's talent a lot throughout all of his novels!
