Be great if SK could write a book in 5 parts that covered, Sav, Jared, Jaden, Simi and Apollmi's stories. But that will be wishful thinking on my part, lol.

Did you mean as a character or as threads?

Jaden is the Demon Broker that demons have to go to a tree and perform a sacrfice for him to come out and grant their request. But it has been advised that no one calls on him lightly as he ask for favors in return that sometimes cost more than what the demon or person was asking for to begin with. I forget the first book he appeared in. I think Night Play but I could be mistaken. Oh and he is also the one that plays video games with Ash. He is also being held captive by someone that we don't even know yet. He has one green eye and one brown too. And like Savitar nobody really knows the full extent of his abilities or where he really came from. Other than the fact that I think it was said they believed he is a being from the Primal Source of power too.

As for Jared he is the Sephirii which is the opposite of Nick's Malachai. And other than reading about him being the one to have betrayed his own kind. I really don't know much more about him. Other than him having a slug demon named Nim he can't shake. And that he is under Zephyra's control. Oh and he is created from the Primal Source as well. Has red hair too.

Yea, I would prefer 5 different books on them too. But man the wait for said books is a real kill joy. As my theories are pretty extensive most days about all of them.

Didn't Zephyra lose control of Jared in Dream Warrior? Also isn't that the same book when we found out who was holding Jaden captive? The guy and girl that Jericho had to fight against? We just don't know why right?

I will have to re-check both points in Dream Warrior. As last I had recalled from One Silent Night, Jared was not allowed to go any where any more since he tried to kill himself by killing Nick. To which Menyara said that would not be a good thing as they both were created by the primal source. So with that in mind I do sort of want to say he is still under Zephyra's control but can't be 100% sure off the top of my head at the moment.

As for Jaden's masters of sorts. I did think they were Noir and Azura too. But they always kept mentioning it was more than one female voice that would torment him when he was in his cell. So not sure if Azura was playing with his mind that way. Or if the fates have him or what. That book was filled with so much new info that my brain still can't fully wrap around it. But will double check and get back to ya on both points.

Oh man... I remember Jared now. Sry, I'm mildly obsessed with Jaden.
My problem is that it took 20-something books to get to Ash's story... how many will it take to get to Sav, Jaden, and the 4th unk?

I thought I remembered Jericho and his heroine (can't remember her name) going to Zephyra and her loaning Jared out to them, but by the end she released him, but I can't remember why.

You're right that there was a bunch of new information in that book.

Ok I re-checked. And yea Zephyra loaned him out at first. Then Jaden gave Jericho that green amulet via that Asmodeus demon and Zephyra voluntarily released Jared to Jericho. And Jericho more or less set him free even though Jared said the source would't fully release him from his punishment regardless if he wore the collar or not. And yea, it was Noir and Azura that had Jaden. Why they have him? That part is still lost on me. And I still get the feeling/vibe that Jared and Jaden were old lovers. Although I don't think SK will be going in that direction though and so they might be brothers. But we'll have to see.

Not a clue how many more before hitting Sav's or the other's books. But I hope they aren't that many.

Yea, it was in Dream Warrior. The reading was so slow and kind of dry for me when I read this book at first. So no doubt it was why I missed out on a few of the details like Jared going free.

I'm glad to hear/read someone else had that same feeling as I did where Jared and Jaden were concerned. Cause although I know there is Zoe that is a lesbian in the characters and I have already read a gay romance here and there from other authors. I wasn't really sure SK would ever travel that road so as to not turn off the broader audience of the books. But that scene when they were more or less "reunited" sort of really did seem like there was more there than mere brotherhood. And as we know that usually most of the guys get into crazy situations do to a loved one that has betrayed them in some way. And in Dream Warrior said it was his fault that Jared was a slave now. So I don't know. I mean would be interesting to see at least one of the characters have sort of Homosexual love story spin on things (other than Zoe, as I think her story would be kind of a given as she is already out). But I wouldn't want it to alienate any other readers to the series, ya know?

Just like with JR Ward and her two homosexual characters, if Jaden and Jared are gay, Kenyon probably won't give them their own story because of mainstream America, which sucks!

But you know that is what gets me too. Cause I keep reading these stats that women are becoming more open to guy on guy action in romance novels and even in porn. And yet when it comes down to it, authors and I'm sure even porn directors are too afraid to go there as they probably don't want to become the author/creator that took things "there". But I know for myself I wouldn't stop reading the books if there was a spin like that just once. As we all wouldn't see it coming and might be a good surprise in a way.

I can usually keep them in order do to Jared having the mismatched colored eyes. And the fact I know he appeared in a much earlier book. But I am for sure which one it is. I still want to say Night Play, cause I recall it was a demon that killed a woman so that Jaden could help him do his bidding at one point. And in Night Play, Bride was kidnapped by that Alastor demon. But I'm not sure if it was him that summoned him the first time or not.

Me too at one point it was like now which one is which and are they related?

Does anyone else feel like they are missing something when it comes to Jared? I remember reading Dream Warrior before most of the other books and just chalked up not understanding his story to having not read the previous books, but now that I'm caught up I still feel like I'm supposed to know more about him than I do. Am I just easily confused, or did I miss a story in an anthology or something?

Nope you guys didn't really miss anything about him before now. I mean pretty much all that is given has about him has been in Dream Warrior and One Silent Night when he was sent out after Nick. Beyond that he was a new character that was introduced around the time we found out about Nick being the Malachai. Beyond that more stuff about him, Noir and Azura seem to be on hold in the Dream-Hunter world. And pretty much open to interpretation and theory.

Aren't Jaden and Jared cousins? Doesn't it say so in Dream Warrior or other? Jared betrayed his fellow Sephirii(don't know if there's a plural somewhere) 'cuz Jaden did smth. stupid, falling in love with Azura or smth(if I remember corectly)

Not that I have read. As in Dream Warrior it is alluded to the fact there is some kind of relationship between Jared and and Jaden. And Jaden said it was his fault that he got Jared into the predicament that he is in now. But was never any mention of either one of them falling in love with Azura. There isn't even a hint if the relationship between the two of them is familial or relational (i.e. lovers like). Although I and a few others think it would be a very interesting twist if they were lovers.

Oh and I think Sephirii is the plural. One is Sephrioth or something like that.

Than it was a thing I disscussed with a friend or something similar... Sorry. Geez I need to re-read the series :))

No prob at all, I had to do some re-reading myself if you noticed my other posts up there, lol. But I initially thought lovers, because of the vibe between them when Jared came to get the prisoner's out of Noir's jail. And there was a moment of a deeper connection between them that didn't really touch on being brothers to me. Especially with the way that Jared was so impassioned to get Jaden down from the wall. But Jaden said he had to stay there and he couldn't leave. But he still managed to pass along that green amulet to get Jared free. And not to say that a brother wouldn't do that for his brother or even a really great friend. But the energy between the two of them just read like something much deeper to me. You can read the other's thoughts over at the Dream Warrior Spoilers thread too. That is where some other posters mentioned the lover vibe too.

I'll add too that with SK anything is possible. And for all we know they could actually be family and be single for a while til/if she gets them hooked up with someone.

I think they are both powerful in their own right. Just on different tiers. And not enough info on which tier Jaden is on and how he even became the demon broker. And it keeps playing in my mind that he has showed up in a book prior to the books that SK mentioned he was in.

Ok, I thought this might shed some light on things as per SK's site.

He is also the demon broker and it is said his first appearance was in Xypher's book (Dream Chaser). But he also appeared in Dream Warrior and One Silent Night. However my brain is itching and telling me that he has appeared in a previous book to these. As I recall having the feeling of already knowing Jaden when I read Xyper's. And I think he was briefly in Ash's book as well cause I think they were playing video games together when Ash was at Tory's house.

As for Jared-Like Ash, Jared finds it easiest to move around the Goth community which is a lot more accepting of his unique characteristics, habits and needs. He's extremely powerful and mysterious. It's said that he can seduce a woman with a single glance and that he has the ability to control anyone near him.

And we also know he appeared in One Silent Night and Dream Warrior and that he is one of the Sepherii. Which more or less don't like the Malachai (to keep it simple).

But I still recall Jared from an earlier book. Cause I think when I first read the passage, I was like this is interesting a Demon broker? cool. But it was in one of those new character paragraphs I believe that got tucked into one of the books and if you weren't paying close attention you would miss it.

I actually roleplay as Jared & this is what we know for sure about him so far:

Physical Description:
Human form - Long red hair, tanned & covered in tattoos, powerful build, shorter than Ash & Jericho, glowing yellow eyes that shift from solid to molten.

True Form - black skin, red markings & wings

Powers:
Wind, manifestation of objects, fading (teleportation), mindreading/telepathy, he's also cursed to hear every cry for help & every scream, pain blocks this however.

Relationships:
Was once enslaved to Zephyra after she killed his gallu owner, now Jericho is his owner. Nim (half leimaxion/half charonte demon) is bound to Jared similar to the way Simi is bound to Acheron. His relationship with Jaden is a mystery, all that is really confirmed is that Jericho described their greeting as being that of very close friends or lovers & that Jaden believes he is to blame for Jared being enslaved.

History:
He was one of the ten elite warriors known as Mimoroux, he is also Shiori to Takara which made him leader of the people he betrayed. The Sepherii served as Guardians & consorts to the Primo Bellum, & were the enforcers of the original laws of the universe. They fought against the Malachai (Nick) & that Mavromino (Noir & Azura)

What in the world is a leimaxion? I thought it was said that Nim was half slug demon. Oh and partially to add to his relationships might be his sort of friendship with Ash too. As I believe that it was mentioned that Ash and Jared knew each other for a while too.

Just saw on Facebook that a new Dream Hunter book is coming out next November! I hope, hope, hope that she has more of Jaden and Jared in it, I can't wait to find out more about them!

I wonder if there will be some more about Noir and Azura in there too. Cause it is so weird how they showed up all of a sudden in Dream Warrior and then not hear about them any more. And as they do have Jaden, I would hope that more is said about him too.

I kind of agree, I like some of the Dream Hunters but not all of them. Jericho and Xypher's books where awesome but the other 2 I could have done without. It is cool how she brings other characters into the books though and ties them all together so well.

I hear ya Colette. I'm still not quite sure how to feel about Delphine's mother's story. I mean it seemed so random in the grand scheme of things. But I guess could be considered a true stand alone for sure. Arik's book seemed that way too even though it connected to Apollymi and Ash. And if Tory wasn't later used as Ash's heroine, I still wouldn't be that interested.

I personally liked all of the dream hunter books...but enjoyed the last one the most!! What I wanna know is whats the deal with Jaden and Jared?? I can't wait for that story to be explained!!

Yea, the jury is still out on the relationship between them. Can't wait to see what there deal is.

I'm interested to know more about Jared and Jaden too. I think they are brothers or cousins though, rather than lovers. But we shall see. And I hope the new Dream hunter book that's coming out in November is about Solin. I've been waiting for his story ever since I read the Dream Hunter book.

I've been all over her site and have seen nothing about a Dream Hunter book. A new Dark Hunter called Redemption with Abby and Jess is coming out. Also the 4th League Book is coming out. Great series for any Kenyon fan!!!

Ah man they moved Nick's second book to March? Crap. I was actually anticipating it for Feb. Nice line up of things to come though.
