For apollo to ever get on my good side he would have to do somethine amazing. And its not like he can correct the mistake he made bc then we would not have much of a series, oh well we'll see

I can't stand Apollo with a passion! He is the lowest life form of the whole series. I mean yes, he hurt over losing his mistress and son. But seriously? Ryssa was one of freaking many he no doubt slept with and fed from. And the fact that he had no remorse throughout the whole of the books other than to say that he couldn't change things now without killing himself. Was still very messed up to me. Just went to show how childish, arrogant, egotistical, and a coward he is. I mean after I read that part, I for once truly agreed with Simi, that the end of the world wouldn't be that bad. Especially if he wasn't in it. But yea overall if it wasn't for his rash actions we wouldn't have much of a series. So I think his stupidity for that and giving Wulf a mate and us a some what new perspective on the Apollites and Daimons as a whole.
LOL, I like the first description better. Don't need to buy a vowel for that one. And no need to give weasels a bad name either.
Everything I ever thought of Apollo, is worse much much worse. He's getting exactly what he deserves.
I never really paid him any mind though. To me, he was the epitome of the negative spoiled jockish brother that you ignore cause all he wants is attention.

I love Apollo, because:1) He's fictional, so a part of my brain is like hey he hasn't hurt anyone in real life.
2) He's so ott.
Be gone mortal scum!
It's hillarious.
3) He gets so salty and dramatic whenever he's disobeyed, insulted or slighted in anyway; like a toddler. Except this toddler is a grown man who happens to have powers, so his temper tantrums do a lot more damage.
4) He's arrogant to the point of stupid. Like he was beaten down by Styxx, gift-wrapped to Apollymi. Now any normal person would be thinking "thank goodness I escaped that crap. I better lay low and learn from the mistake I made trying to hurt Styxx or anyone he cares about. Because I know Styxx can kick my ass, lesson learned.
But Apollo escapes and not too long afterwards, he attacks Styxx's son.
I find his arrogance makes him mildly amusing, when he does dumb things like that.
6) I think he's gorgeous.
7) Sherrilyn Kenyon has installed the "this character has the potential to be a good person, no matter how evil you think they are" mindset in me. So a part of me wonders about what Apollo's good traits were.
8) Vampire sexiness - The whole erotica of being bitten on the neck. I like that. I usually self-insert myself and "replace" Apollo's victims. I am disgusted about what Apollo did to Styxx, but I self-insert myself in Styxx's place, because to me it's a dark fantasy I enjoy. But purely in terms of fantasy. I wouldn't enjoy it if it was done in real life to me or to anyone else.
I am happy loving him for the evil character he is. I love him as a fictional character and not as a fictional person.
But as the saying goes "we don't need to justify our love for a fictional character to anybody" even if the fictional character is awful.
