Aphrodite gently floated around the world watching young couples fall in love. She sighed happily that her days work was going so well.
"Something is missing, don't you think?" Nerthus materialized behind the beautiful goddess. She grinned and waved a lazy hand. Her blue and white striped skirt swayed as she moved gracefully, almost feline-like towards Aphrodite.
((I know.))Aphrodite was feeling playful and decided to tease Viktor. "I'll be back later Nerthus" she whispered before morphing into a mortal. She walked next to Viktor. "Hello" she said.
"Aren't you going to answer back?" she asked. she was very pretty and she hoped he noticed.((okie dokie!))
"right about what?" she asked him. Her hand running up his chest. "Your very cute for a mortal. you know that?"
"What I am then Mr. smarty pants?" she asked him getting up to his face, she started tracing his face.
Aphrodite giggled with delight. "You knew my name! You are sooooo close, yet so far to your destiny" she said to him.
"what do you mean?! What does it mean?! It means your almost a God pea brain! Your going to be the God of hell!!"
"Tsk, tsk." Nerthus materialized out of thin air. She looked at Aphrodite in laconic dismay. "Telling half mortals about their destinys, huh?" With her forefinger she pressed the darkblue-rimmed glasses on the bridge of her nose. "Not a smart idea, Love."
Nerthus tilted her head and smiled at the boy, while scrutinizing his silver hair and the orb in his hand. "Me?" She pointed to herself, "I'm just a school girl." From side to side she swayed; her blue and white striped skirt fluttered in the wind. She grabbed onto the straps of her red backpack which stood out against her white long sleeved blouse. "And who are you?"
"Viktor." She walked up to him until they were standing so close that Nerthus could clearly hear his sporadic breathing. "Since when can you see spirits?"
"Hmmm..." She lightly tapped her forefinger on the corner of her rosy-brown lips. "When you see the spirits, what are they doing? Or where are they going?" Her dark eyes pierced through him; she didn't bat an eyelash.
"You see, if you really want to know what you are, you have to think and put the pieces together. A horny Love goddess won't get you that far," she grinned at Aphrodite, "I can tell you that." She turned her stare back on Viktor the stray sunray hitting the side of her glasses. "You have to find the puzzle pieces and put them together all on your own. Don't expect help from the first being that comes along just because their spiritual pressure is higher than a ghosts. They tend to give wrong directions and can be very grumpy." Slowly she moved her hand towards his face and tapped her forefinger lightly onto his temple.
"Think." She said. "After you've found the pieces, call me." And with that she beamed at Aphrodite and Viktor before turning heels and striding down the street.
The sky now had a creamy peach color; the sun had started to set. Nerthus was walking past a park, pondering as usual. To think was something inescapable for her. It even cost her her sleep, she never slept. She cursed her power, even cursed being a goddess, because she didn't feel like one. All the gods were corrupt. Always doing as they like, waging wars against each other as though it were a game, not caring how many human lives they took. When did they actually really help humans rather than wreaking all the havoc? They were greedy. Every god and goddess had a significant power, natural beauty, immortality, yet why did they envy the mortals? Hell, some gods even lust after human women when they have the most beautiful goddesses around them. But that was barely the problem. The real problem was when a mortal woman beared an immortals child.
A demigod.
That was one kind of god you wouldn't want to be. Not with those other gods around.
Nerthus stopped in her tracks. She peered over her shooulder, looking at the path behind her. It's not that she believed in Fate, she'd met Fate before and was shocked to see her clumsily spin the thread. But it wasn't a coincidence either that she'd met Viktor. She chuckled bitterly, thinking of how stupid she really is, because as soon as she'd met him, she knew she had to help him. Turning around, she let out a soft sigh. She headed back down the path she'd come from.
((Sorry >.< I wrote too much! I was just so bored XP))
"Silly mortal, you can't kill a Goddess!" she said and grabbed him. "Olympus" she whispered and they were there.
"oh just shush it, Shall I take you on a tour?" she asked him.((sorry she's being mean, sometimes she's not the nicest goddess))
((lol! right!!!))Aphrodite gave him a strange looked and watched him. she slowly followed him, looking to see if he was going where she thought he was going.
"No!" Nerthus screamed. She had pearls of sweat on her forehead since she had been zapping between the worlds, trying to find Aphrodite and Viktor. But it was too late. "What have you done?" She looked at Viktor in horror. Then she turned to Aphrodite and her nostrils flared. "You," she jabbed a finger in Aphrodites direction, "what were you thinking?"
