Dude... that's a weird scientist. Oh wait, I think I know. I'm not sure but here is my guess. Since global warming slowly causes the water to heat up, the water currents move differently because the cold water currents are now warm water currents. So, this will cause the tectonic plates to move differently, so it is possibly that two tectonic plates will collide and cause more earthquakes... tada!! Ok, this is so my guess...
wow that's a very good guess Prajit. I hate global warming and I think people should do moore to help, If people did help then maby the warth wound't be this way.
it might not go as fast as they predicted tho. with the prices of gas, people arent using their cars as much and thats always a plus.

you want to know what i dont get, everyone now acknowledges the existance of global warming. but just last yr and the one before that many were thinking it was made up. i think people should be most def acting more seriously towards this than they are....i mean it is the planet that we're living on.

but a couple of my friends and I think this is the stupidest thing we have ever heard..I mean,how can the warming of Earth cause the plate tectonics to move?!?!!?
