Mira woke up with a sweat. She looked around and saw nothing but darkness, she sighed and relaxed a little. Then it happened, A loud crashing noise went off in the lower part of the castle and she heard people screaming. Mira got out of bed and walked to her window. when she looked out she saw fire and debris from the castle. She screamed when she saw someone come into her room bloodied and injured.

Aleah ran around the castle, trying to avoid the places with chaos, thought it wasn't working well.

"Help!!" Mira yelled when she saw the man collapse on the ground, she didn't know who it was, but she didn't want him dying in her room.

She heard yelling from the princess's room and ran there.

Mira tried to open the door and it was locked. "Help!!!" she screamed again

"Stand back!" She yelled and slambed into the door.

Mira moved away and heard the door creak.

She tried again and the door knocked down, she held her arm. "Ow..." She said wincing then looked at the princess, ignoring the pain. "What's wrong?"

Aver moved through the trees. She was far enough away from the villiage that she should be able to find something. Stooping to the ground Aver looked for deer prints. Her stomach growled telling her she should eat. She snorted, food what a wonderful dream that was.

By the time the girl had entered Mira's room, it had fire in it and the room was filled with smoke. "Get me out of here!!" she screamed ((what if Xander's family were the ones who were attacking her palace?))

((ya... i'm figuring they're from two different kingdoms... ;) ))
She looked around and figured the way she just came from wouldn't be the smartest. "You have a window in her right?"

Xander watched from the outskirts of where most of his men were. His uncle had forbidden him to get to close. He still had the kindom to inherit when he turned nineteen. Xander's horse snorted impatientlY, patting her white neck Xander watched as the flames grew larger and the heat began to spread. Shouts echoed through his men as many rushed forward with torches and spears.

"Yes! Where is my family? did they get away??" she asked walking over to her window.

"I don't know, but at the moment we need to keep you safe, just in case they.... uh..." She said awkwardly and quickly changed the subject. "I'm going to go out first, when I tell you, jump and I'll catch you, okay?"

"Are you sure about this?" she asked then heard Soldiers trying to break into her room. "Okay! Go!" she yelled then ran to get her dagger and stuck it into her belt.

"Xander!" The prince heard his name he looked and saw his uncle ride to him. "I want you to get farther back.

"This kingdom is going to fall into our hands uncle there is no need ot worry," Xander rolled his eyes. His Uncle eyed him a moment before heading back off, most likely to find the king and queen of the joint. Xander rolled his eyes again. His uncle was a coward. He wished everyone else would see it. Brushing his hair out of his eyes he looked up at the crumbling castle.

Aleah climbed down from a tree quickly and went to the bottom. "JUMP!!"

Mira nodded "I can't believe i'm doing this" she said and jumped.

She caught her easily. "You're pretty light you know that?" ((how's she dressed by the way?))

Ascilia walked through the village with a basket full of bread. Her head was covered by a hood and it was bowed. She didn't want to be recognized.

((in her nightgown, a simple silk chemise with a belt and shoes.))

"Thank you" she said before climbing down the tree, she looked around and saw enemy soldiers everywhere.

((mkay, making sure))
"Stay quiet, we can't let them see us."

Xander saw a few forms jump from a window, he tapped his horse and rode that drection ready to chse down any one he needed to.

She crouched in the tree silently, and she heard a horse riding towards them.

Mira froze "There's a person riding over here." she whispered

She nodded, getting nervous.

"what are we going to do??" she asked panicking.

She put her finger to her lips and whispered, "Don't panic, don't say anything, don't move, try not to breathe loudly." She said gravely.

"Your kingdom is over run, come down here," Xander ordered loudly. His horse, Penelope as Pippa called her, snorted.

Mira nodded and completely froze.

She breathed softly and prayed he didn't hear them.

Mira could hear cracking and turned to look at Aleah. "the tree branch is breaking." she whispered

"Oh no..." She said closing her eyes.

Xander resisted the urge to groan. Swinging off his horse he unshethed his sword walking toward the trees. "Prince Alexander Constenine of the Kindgom of Reljah orders you to come forth. Do so now or he personally will see your death."

Get it done easy as Xander liked to do.

The branch broke and fell to the ground, she opened her eyes and looked at Xander.

Mira scremaed and hit the ground right next to Xander.

"Are you okay your highness?" She asked Mira, ignoring Xander.

"Not entierly what I was expecting," Xander observed slightly amused. "Neither of you move." He turned and saw one of his personal gaurds coming. "Kolden hold these two until my Uncle returns. I believe we have the Princess Mira and her Lady in Waiting. And dont be rude." Xander added glaring at Kolden.

"Let go of us!!" Mira yelled struggling to get away and in the process kicking Xander in the chest.

She froze. "I'm in a slightly awkward and uncomfortable position though." She said still crouching.

"It'll be okay" she whispered and turned back to Xander.

She nodded. "I hope so."

"Oy!" Kolden shouted grabbing Mira and holding her securly. "You show respect to his Highness or we'll off with you now."

"I said dont be rude," Xander said rolling his eyes. He looked at Aleah. "If you would please stand."

"What have you done with my family!!" she demanded.

She stood up straight and curtsied a little, "Pleasure to meet you, your Highness." she said quietly.

"don't talk to him" Mira said glaring at Xander.

She stopped. "Fine with me."

"You bat-fowling pig wench! Where is my family!"
