We're cutting it close, but if anyone is interested, it's not too late to nominate 2 or 3 books to vote on for a December group read.

Maybe a novella? Any SFR novellas people have been wanting to read lately, something from a small press? Or does it being a download preclude some readers?

Were you thinking of anything in particular?
Oh, it just seems like Samhain and Carina often release SFR or steampunk novellas? No? Most are probably erotic, though, and I know not everyone goes for that any more than they go for ebooks :). Kim Knox also has 7% and rising that's SFR and Satin Spar. I'd probably pick 7% and Rising since I've read a sample and it's kind of Terminatory with a female being the one sent back, if that makes sense?
Oh...here's the f/sf section at Samhain. Not to force a Samhain book on anyone -- the disclaimer being they're my publisher... http://samhainpublishing.com/category...Here's Carina's sf page: http://tinyurl.com/2uhmsfy
Just a caveat about the story I suggested. I don't know if I'll have time to even participate this month. December is probably my busiest month of the year.

There are so many novels/ novella's that I'd like to read that just aren't available in paperback.

We'll get the poll together later today.
That's true, people will be busy this month. I'm glad you guys nominated the two novellas. It will give people more options.

I finally started this one, and I was wondering if anyone else did as well. I haven't gotten very far, but so far (I'm only about 20 pages in), its moving prettey fast. I'm going to give it another 50 pages or so, before I post my opinion on the main couple. Just based on the little that I've read so far, I'm enjoying this book. But, I happen to like zombies, and anything with that 28 Days Later feel to it.
This one was a quick, easy, and fun read. I finished it earlier this evening, and I'm looking forward to reading Flip this Zombie when its released next month. I don't want to say too much, because I don't want to spoil the story for anyone else. But..... I really enjoyed reading about Sarah and David's marriage. It was nice to read a story about the average married couple. There were some really funny moments, and I think the author did a great job describing the more eerie moments, like things being "too quiet" for example. I'd love to discuss when others have had a chance to read it =)
