(( im not good with starting.... -.-' ..... ))

Saffy sat in one of the computer areas, finishing up her computer programing homework- it was a class mandatory for all students, even the ones who had learned this stuff years ago. "Just a few more finishing touches on the aesthetics…" she muttered to herself.

Jace Finished scaleing the wall in the trainig area. He got to the top and pressed a button sayig he was fnished. The time appeared above him on a screen. It was usually about a 2 minute coarse. The time above him shown 8:23. Top score in hs class by about 5 minutes.

( lawl.. sorry.. it was supost to say 20 minute coarse... )

She finished the game. "There! Now I just need a tester…" she quickly hacked into the database to see who was done their current classwork. She was the only one done in CP class, but there was one person done with the climbing wall. She picked up her laptop and headed there, waiting patiently at the bottom of the wall for the one who had finished.

Jace Admired his time and slowly scaled the wall back down. He saw a girl with a lap-top at the bottom. He looked around then at her "can i help you with something? Or are you just here to admire my time with me?" He said in a cocky attitude.

"I just finished programing a computer game, and I was wondering if you could test it out for me. All the others are still working, so I came her to see who was done." Well, that was only a partial truth, but oh well. she thought.

Jace shrugged, "alright, let me see it." He said with 1 hand out reached. "this better not be a waste of time, I'm a field operative, not a nerd" He said as a matter-of-fact.

She handed him the laptop. "It's a computer game. Computer games are practically the definition of wasting time. The point is for it to be programed well, and to leave a few gaps for spyware viruses and whatnot. And we prefer to be called intellectuals, not nerds. Nerd sounds derogatory."

"what ever ..... nerd" he said with a pause. he crossed his legs and fell down into indian style sitting. he booted up the program and looked at her for guidance.

"Make a character and have fun with it. There are tutorials if you need them." she sat down across from him and took out a small touch screen almost like an iPod touch.

He looked down and began to make his character. "not half bad graphics kid.." he said after he was done with his character.

"Thank you" she started to tap away at the screen.

"mmmhhmm...." he said starting to play the game.

She put a view of the game on her screen, watching what he was doing.

he was playing like a pro. he was advancing through the game rather quickly. " not bad... ive seen better.. but not bad"

"Thank you. Any pointers on how to make it better?"

(what type of game is it? .... adventure..... rp.... war? )

he focused on her for a sec. she looked like she could take the criticism. " well. enemies are a little hard to kill.. your scenery is sketchy... and theres a very limited move chart.." he said very mildly.

"Right. Enemies are supposed to be hard to kill, if it was easy to kill them the game would be boring. The ascetics I'll have to work on, and the move chart will be expanded." she started tapping away at her screen again, muttering to herself as she worked.

"well, if they were easyer to kill. it would be more realistic. besides, nowa days, people like easy things..you would probably have a bigger player fan base.." he said confidentally.

"I want a good game, not a large player base. This is a class project, anyway." she shrugged, still tapping away at the screen. "Try it now, please." she said as she hit 'put in effect.'

Jace shrugged and started playing again. "Not bad kid..."

"Thanks, Jace."

((my best friend wants to know if you got the name Jace from a book series.))

Jace continued to play the game.

((Lena says that that she wants to be your friend… because you appriciate how wonderful the books are… and she's insane…))

She watched his character on the screen.

(( ive read all 4 mortal instraments....im moveing to the next 6 lol..sure ill be her friend O_O ))

" so, whats your name?" He said putting the lap top off to his side.

"Sappheire Silver, more commenly known as Saffy." she picked up the laptop.

"Interesting name..." he smiled and stood up. putting his hand out for her.

"Thanks." she shook his hand. "Is this course very hard?"

"umm, it has its days..." he saud looking at it. "Why? are u considering it?"

"I was thinking of running through it once or twice." she looked at the obstical course.

"want some pointers??" He said with a smirk.

"No, I'll be fine." she grabbed some of the safety gear and started on the course.

Jace began laughing at the fact she put on safety gear. "after this we can do the team course."

"Sure, why not." she grabbed hold of a rope that hung above a pit, swinging from rope to rope like a little monkey.

Jace watched in silence. Also watching the clock. Waiting for another victim to fall prey to his time.

She skipped the last rope, instead letting go and falling through the air to land on a ledge below the edge of the cliff. A tunnel led from the ledge, invisible from above. Shortcut.

Jace smiled at the cheater. There was still no way she could beat his time.

She slipped through then tunnel, jumping up and out right before the rock wall- she made it there five minutes. now for the hard part. she thought, and started climbing.

Jace looked amuzed at her attempt.

She moved carefully, making her way up in the only route that had no dead ends. She had studied this course on video, so she knew the was to the top. She was almost at the top at 8 minutes 20 seconds.

Jace bit his lip, Saffy, A nerd of all people. Was ganna beat his time.

She reached the top and hit the button- 8 minutes, 33 seconds. She then proceeded to rappel down the wall, landing neatly at the bottom.

(( lol and u cheated... Fail!! lol ))

Jace almost screamed in happyness. "Yes!! Still Un-Beatable!"

((she is a techie.))

"Well, it was only my first time."

"so? you took a short cut, i didnt. and you still failed... anyway, want to try the team coarse??"

"Sure."
