The last thing he saw that night was a pair of eyes disappear before darkness took him. He awoke to find himself alone with the money, shocked and confused he stumbled home and presented his family with the money, he didnt know that the vampire and turned him but soon realised as his family grew old around him, at first it was just passed off as growing old gracefully but soon it became clear and he left. later in his life he learned he could consume animal blood to survive but he needed a lot more than human to do so.
