Joel walked through the crowd, signing autographs as he went. "Here you go," Joel smiled as he handed the poster back to some girl. "Keep rocking," Joel said, as always. The crowd was really REALLY loud. His bodyguard had too hold back a screaming fan. "God, I hate this," Joel thought. "Why couldnt he be normal and not have this happen?" he asked himself. "Play something, Play something!" someone screamed. He had a chorus going of the same thing, so Joel sighed and took his guitar out of his bag. He played a song, not bothering to sing, then walked inside the recording studio.

Taylor hurried through the crowd. Darcy Palmer and Jessica Layle at her side. They were the base guitr and drummers in Girl Talk. They were headed to a CD signing. They just released their new CD titled, Girls and Guys. Taylor loved the rush of the crowd. She and her band members were scheduled to sing a few songs on stage at the mall where the signing was. She loved performing.

New Event: Battle Of The Bands!!

A few blocks away Taylor could hear more comotion. She wondered what was going on. She heard about a battle of the bands competition going on, but she hadn't entered yet. Girl Talk hadn't discussed it much. She decided she's bring it up at the CD signing. She loved competition and winning was always the best part.

Joel got a call from his agent after he was done recording. "A concert? Thats awesome!" Joel laughed. He loved playing concerts. "Its at the arena in one hour. Can you be there?" his agent asked. "Definetly," Joel smiled. He got there and got set up. It was time for the concert. He ran out on the stage with his band. "HELLO NEW YORK!!" He called. The screaming was overwhelming. "Are you ready to rock?" he called. "YA!!!!!!!!" The crowd called. "Then lets go!" Joel slid his fingers onto the guitar. They started out with their biggest song for the new album, which the crowd loved. At one point in the concert, Joel started playing the guitar behind his head, which was awesome. Fireworks was going off, and the concert was wicked.

At the end of the concert, Joel smashed his guitar. The concert was over, and it was amazing. "Thank you New York!" Joel called.

After he CD signing Taylor went shopping. It was so hard to do anything normal because of how famous she was. Most of the time she had to send people out for her to get things she needs. She heard lots of commotion still going on. She decided she'd take a look. She saw lights and fireworks going off everywhere. Then she turned around and saw a huge stage in the far distance. She loved going to other peoples concerts so she decided she'd go. When she got there, she realized it was a rock band. She was more of a hip-hop fan, but she stayed anyways. She really got into it. It was one of the best rock concerts she had seen in a while. Especially when the guitar player started playing the guitar behind his head! She loved that. She had never heard of the band before, though.

Joel ran through the crowd after he had got off the crowd, and at the end did a backflip over someone. He eventually got into a breakdancing concert. He won, which was cool. "Alright New York, good night! We'll be back! The next concert is at the Battle of the Bands. be there!" Joel called.

Hero walked was in New York for awhile. Her band stayed in Cali, but she prefered it on the east coast and came here for a vacation. She was pretty famous and some people came over to ask for autographs. She happily obliged. No one's famous without the fans. She had come incognito to New York, driving her mom's old CR-V car. She didn't like limo's. She never got to drive. She was here mainly for the theater but decided to check out a major rock concert. She got in and regretted it. The dude actually smashed his guitar! She hoped it had sentimental value so he would start wigging out that he broke it. Alas, he did not. A shame. She went to see the band anyway. Always good to know other people in the music biz.

When Joel was leaving, he saw a girl he recognized. Oh ya, it was the lead singer of Girl Talk. "Hey, you're Taylor right?" Joel asked/

He saw another person too, Hero, a girl forom the band Nobodys Princess. "Hey, is it pop night tonight? By the way, I love yalls music. You're really good."

"Thanks. I saw your concert." she said, smiling. "But it stunk. Why would you smash an instrument? I don't get why everyone thinks thats cool." she said, rolling her eyes. A few people looked over when Joel said Hero. It was an unusual name to have. A few people smiled and asked for autographs. Smiling at them she gave them each an autograph wishing them good luck. She always did that.

Joel smiled. "You dont think that was real do you? We always do that. Theyre fake guitars, they just look real. Its really fun," Joel laughed. "So when did you start piano? Youre really good."

"I started piano when I was around 7. My mom taught me for awhile, she was a music teacher and a piano teacher." I say warmly.

"Ya, I'm Taylor. And thanks." Taylor told Joel. "I'm not usually a big fan of rock, but I just finished with a CD signing and heard the concert. It was pretty good. It was cool when you played the guitar behind your head. I'm not as good at the guitar as you, but I can sing...that's for sure!" She said with a laugh. She turned around to face Hero. Ugh... she thought. Hero was at her last performance in California and wasn't the smartest critique. She listened to Hero critique Joel and his concert. She was being rude. It was Taylor's personality to be kind and... well, not rude!

Taylor turned around when she heard someone call her name. Jessica walked up to her. "Darcy is at Macy's looking for clothes to wear to the concert. Come on!" She grabbed Taylor's hand and tugged. "Alright." She said. She started walking away before she remembered Joel and Hero. She turned and waved.

Elizabeth was sick of being on all of the magazines. Half of the stuff they wrote was fake. She needed to see Hero. That usually calmed her down. Hero was like her best friend. Even though she was from another band. Elizabeth didn't mind. She walked into her house and grabbed her phone and her notebook. She needed to write a new single. She dialed Hero's number and waited for her to either pick up or for the voicemail to come on.

Taylor finished shopping. She was headed out to her limo when tons of fans came towards her. They had copys of her new CD. She signed several then got in her limo. She pulled up at a movie theatre. Again, she was greeted by a crowd of fans. "Hi! How are you guys?" She asked her fans while still autographing. "Taylor I love you!" Said a little boy. Taylor laughed and signed the poster he was holding. She bent down and kissed him on the cheek. She then walked on. When she arrived inside the theatre she bought a ticket for the new movie I Am Legend. She sat through the movie, while only getting interupted to sign autographs 6 times.

Joel went to a party after the concert, and after that went to his house. "What a night," Joel said. "And soon, I've got the Battle of The Bands. Im just glad I'm in the rock division, cause I would definetly lose in the Pop one."
He went into his bedroom and looked at all the Platinum Records on his walls. He had won the Battle of the Bands last year, thats what made Embers on Sunday big. It was time to win it again/

Elizabeth got into her limo and turned on Guns N' Roses Sweet Child O' Mine. She was a Pop/ Hip Hop singer, but she liked some Rock. She turned it down and started to write and play her acoustic guitar. She wasn't a guitar player, but she wrote the guitar parts.

Joel sat in his room writing a new song. He wasnt the lead singer in the band, but he wrote all the songs. "So help me, not make a mistake, and not break away from everything I know," Joel wrote. He picked up his guitar and started writing out the rhythm to it. It wasn't very hard rock, kinda slow, but pretty cool. He liked it. In about an hour, he was done.

Hero left the concert rolling her eyes. She took off her sunglasses. And said hi to a few people who were her fans. Hero's band was very popular with almost everybody, but if you don't advertise where you're going you don't get noticed. Thats one thing Hero loved. She stayed away from the poparatzi, and if they said one false word about her she went on live TV and set the record straight. She loved talking to her fans. It was a chance to show them that she wasn't one of those posers like some other rock stars. Like the ones that 'had such a hard life and just wished they were normal' she never bought that. They just wanted attention. She showed everyone she loved what she did and she was as normal as the next person! She waved by to some people she was talking to, Aly, Veronica, and Kristen, if she heard them right over the noise of this big crowd, and went back to her car. She would go to a hotel and look at some of the apartments. She'd like to visit New York more often!

Joel walked out of his apartment the next morning and stretched. He went to his garrage and hopped in his Mustang. He had a signing today. and he had to be there soon. He jumped out of the car when he got there. Some teenage girl yelled,"YOU ARE THE BEST! I LOVE YOU!" Joel laughed and signed her autograph. He gave her a small kiss then signed the next persons poster. "Hey, will you sign my guitar?" some kid called. Joel walked over to the boy and said,"Sure, man. Just keep playing, never stop practicing." The boy nodded and said,"Thanks man. You're my idol." ""No problem," Joel laughed. Joel signed some more autographs, then jumped on the stage. He was handed his guitar and the rest of Embers on Sunday came on. "This is a song we've been working on for a while, hope you like it," Joel smiled. He started the progession, and the song began.

Taylor was in her hotel room writing a song. Her cell rang. It was Jessica. "Ya?" She said. "Taylor! Micheal's having a huge party and invited girl talk." Jessica said in an extremely preppy voice. Jessica knew Micheal liked Taylor but Taylor didn't like Micheal. "So? Go without me. Micheal is so immature! I'll go to the mall or something instead." She said into the speaker. "But you have to go! Micheal is so cute and I don't understand why you don't like him!" Jessica said. "Look, I'm not going and I'm not dealing with this." She hung up the phone and popped her gum. She decided she'd go check out the competition for battle of the bands.

The battle of the bands stage and practice stage was huge. There were several bands already in line to use the practice stage and no one was alowd to use the actual competition stage. Taylor looked at the list for the stage. It was booked until midnight...tomorrow. Maybe she'd sign up Girl Talk a day in advance. She thought about for a second, then picked up a pen and scribbled the band name on the list. She sat for a while and listened to the different bands. There was a huge variety of music. A minute later a group of teenage girls and guys came up to her and asked for autographs. Taylor signed everything and took several pictures. They talked for a long while. After talking for about 30 minutes Taylor invited them to lunch. The group of 9 went to a resturaunt across the street. She noticed two people in the crowd who she liked the best. Derek and Lisa. Derek was 21 and Lisa was 20. Most of the group was 18 and 19 and there was a 23 year old too. Taylor hung out with them for the rest of the day.

Joel had just finished practicing at the Battle Of the Bands rock arena. The concert would be good this year, but tough. Embers on Sunday had came out on the stage with a rock song, but it was not the actual song they would be playing. The real one was much longer and had the best guitar solo Joel had ever made. They would blow away the competion. Joel finshed packing his stuff up and was walking down the street when he got a call from his agent. "Whats up?" Joel asked. "Hey, Joel, its Bill. Look, we've got two tours you're going on after the Battle of the Bands. THe first one is the Vans Warp Tour. You'll be going with a whole bunch of other bands for about a month and you'll be living in a bus. The next tour is the Ozzfest, which is the same one you did last year. You'll be with bands like Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne and stuff. Have fun. I'll call youu later for the dates. Later," his manager said, hanging up the phone. "Awesome," Joel said. He loved Ozzfest and couldn't wait for the Warp tour. What an awesome year.

Elizabeth was in her condo in New York. She had went to the airport late last night and had gotten to NYC late as well. She was sitting in her living room with her guitar on her lap. "Don't wanna let you go, Not now not ever..." "Nope. Thats not right," Elizabeth said as she played a few chords on her guitar. "Should AJ play in the battle of the bands this year?" she asked herself," Yeah. We will." Elizabeth called up drummer in AJ and asked her if she would sign up for the Battle Of the Bands. She agreed and then went to go sign them up.

Hero had signed up Nobody's Princess for the battle of the bands after talking with Holly and Meagan, the two others in the band. Meagan was guitar and Holly was on Drums. They would steal the show.

"Hey Hero, It's me, Elizabeth. I'm in NYC. Um... I'm working on a new song and I have an idea. Maybe Nobody's Princess and AJ could do a song together as their single. Give me a call later. Bye."

Taylor finally said goodbye to her new friends. Of course, after she got everyones phone number and email address. Her cell phone rang. It was her agent. "Hello?" She answered. "Taylor, I got you another commercial. It's tomorrow night. But don't worry, it's being filmed in Alabany so you'll leave tomorrow morning and film all day." Cara explained. "But Cara, Girl Talk has rehearsal tomorrow for battle of the bands." She said. "I thought we agreed your career comes before Girl Talk, because your going solo." Cara retorted. "Whatever. I'll make up my mind and call you later." Taylor hung up, and let out a sigh.

Hero went up to her hotel room extremely tired. She just wanted to go to sleep. Just as she pulled up the covers her agent called. "What is it Garry? I was just going to sleep." she said, annoyed. "I just booked a tour for you to go around to the nations most popular cities and perform with nobody's princess!" he said, very proud. "What about the smaller cities?" "We can't do that, it would hold up the tour!" "Then hold it up! I never was a fan of big cities anyway." she said, ending the discussion. She turned her phone on silent and threw it on the ground. She fell asleep to it buzzing quietly.

The next morning, Taylor walked out of the elevator of her hotel. Downstairs waiting for her was Derek. He smiled when he saw her. He was taking her out for breakfast. "Hey Derek!" Taylor said. "Hey!" He said back. They walked outside. Taylors limo pulled out front. Waiting in front of her limo was Riley, Taylors body-guard. "Riley, you can take the day off. Me and Derek are just going out for breakfast." "Sorry, mam. Your agent called and aren't you supposed to be on your way to Alabany?" "I don't care! I don't want to shoot the commercial! And besides, I have band rehearsals tonight. Just tell Cara that I'm not going." Taylor said as she sat in the limo.

Joel and the rest of Embers on Sunday were working in the studio on their new album, Winds of War. They had just finished the second to last song and were about to start the next song when he got a call from his girlfried. "Hey, whats up?" he asked. "Nothing, just wondering what you were doing." she replied. "We're in the recording studio. Hey, can I call you back? Maybe we can go to dinner tonight," Joel asked. "Ok," she replied, happy. "Bye," Joel said. "Bye" she said. Joel hung up the phone. The band finished the final song and celebrated.

Taylor and Girl Talk was in a recording studio. They were recording a few songs for preparation for their new album. It would be releasing soon. They were only doing three songs this afternoon. Then they were going back to the hotel to get ready for rehearsal tonight. They had the stage for an hour so they wanted to impress the competition. Taylor had a strong feeling they were going to win the pop division.

((Joel got a girlfriend? Joel could GET a girlfriend? I hope Joel isn't like Collin, or else he could never get a girl. Alright, I'm done now.))

You could join our band, but's an all girls band. Collin quit and he had the only guy band.

((We broke up because he was being an idiot and was only thinking about our friendship. When I lived in GA we were really tight and now since I moved... we haven't been. And its my fault.))
