And I say harsh hit, somewhere inside these people KNOW that HP is good and that Twilight sucks, we just need to knock some sense into them.

Some of those things are totally stupid. Someone said HP was a bad influence because her cousin was playing with a stick, pretending to be HP when he accidently poked his brother's eye. The boy's vision isn't as good now.
And Haley82 blames it on HARRY POTTER. What?!?

But nooooo, let's blame it on Harry Potter!

I strongly disagree with that. I mean, Twitards are people who senselessly and shamelessly obsess over Twilight and don't really have a good reason for it. We don't scream over her group, "WE LOVE HARRY POTTER DEAL WIF IT!!" we use reason to show them that it isn't all that bad, and explain parts of the book for them (eg: the horcruxes and stuff)

Your posts on the explanations page were freaking awesome!! I can't imagine how much time you must've spent on them.
However, your post which was filled with the words, HARRY POTTER, wasn't really a point. It's not going to help the cause. :) Just continue using that awesome reasoning you used before to sway those weird potter haters.

2507243 That being said, I stopped believing in wizards when I realized that JKR's definition of a wizard destroyed any images of wizards that I had in my head. Gandalf is a wizard. Dumbledore is a gay jerk. harry is a whiny bitch.

I still think Gandalf is better than Dumbledore.

Gandalf is probably the best book character ever, but that doesn't mean Dumbeldore and Harry Potter aren't awesome also.

reading her comments.. one cant help to wonder at how did she imagined wizards to be? i mean i always imagined them exactly the way jk potrayed them...

oh yea gandalf totaly rocks!!! lotr is one the most awesomest book ever!
but i liked dumbledore alot too...

lol I am obsessed with Lord of the Rings in my opinion they are the best books ever, but Harry Potter is still awesome.

LOTR's only slightly above HP for me. But I don't compare them, they're incomparable.

From what I can tell... (havent read LOTR... gasp) they're quite different books and awesome in their ow ways?

true it is hard to compare them because of how different they are. But they are 2 of my favorite series's, others would be the Obsidian Chronicles, and the Otori Series.
