Fireclaw soared through the air looking for something to do.

Liria practiced controlling water from the air. She threw her arms in the air and a stream of water followed. Then she tried to bring it around herself but missed, drenching herself. "Shoot," she muttered, licking the water off her fur.

Fireclaw spotted someone drenching them self in water and decided to fly over.

Liria shook herself, getting the rest of the water off. "Hi,"

"Hello. I'm Fireclaw," he said flying closer over.

"I'm Liria."

Fireclaw nodded and said, "I see you are trying to control water."

"Yeah. I've mastered it on land or underwater, but I still can't get it in the air."

"Hmm. I don't know how to control water so I probably won't be a great help."

"I can see that."

"I cam only control fire," he said pulling out his claw and starting a small fire.

Liria's mane stood on end.

"I won't hurt you though," Firclaw said seeing Liria's mane standing on end, "Unless you attack me."

"Ditto," Liria tried to flatten her fur.

Fireclaw flew up into higher into the air and came back down as her wings had started to get cramped

"That's the problem with wings, they get cramped like that. I'm glad I was spared."

"I like flying though," Firclaw said doing a loop-de-loop in the air.

"Me too,"

"So how long have you been trying to learn how to control water?"

"Forever. Any water dragon that can control water has markings like mine and their training begins the day after they hatch and until they're fifty years old. Then they are sent to travel the world using their skills for good or evil."
