The Book Loved By Everyone But You discussion

Reading is really subjective, isn't it? I mean, I can totally love one title, then recommend it 'till I'm blue in the face and get completely surprised when they knock it back. But that happens to others too - the book I can't finish is The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I can't get over the thought that the doctor is a selfish a$$.

What title(s) were recommended to you that just need to go into the recycling bin?

i agree on that one. Have to admit that I was simply bored by the story! I must be one of the only people on the planet that could not get through The time traveller's wife. Everybody loves it, I just could not be bothered. Subjective indeed!!!

I loved the Time Traveller's Wife but HATED the Memory Keeper's Daughter to the extent that I returned it... Along with Donna Tartt's The Secret History, those are the only books I've returned :)
