I haven't heard of this series before but it sounds interesting. If you want more "noir" WWII intelligence, I can highly recommend the books by Alan Furst.

The Bamboo Heart is more on the WWII side/drama
THe Fort Providence is Historical crime it is about Jack the ripper
Rugged and Relentless is Historical Western

Call Me Duchess is the 6th book I have read for this challenge so far. It is by Maggie Dove and what a wonderful read. It is Historical romance, mystery, victorian romance, suspense etc.
