Angela (leavesofheritage) | 5 comments The first Historical Fiction I read that really boosted me into reading as an adult was Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I guess it falls under the HF Mystery. I know that I really enjoyed it at the time, but it has been so long, and so many books ago that I can't really say much about it...other than I really liked it and am now a life loing lover of books because of my positive experience with it =0)

I also recently read a Historical Fiction book Cornelius the Orphan by Douglas Quinn (White Heron Press). It was more of a general Historical Fiction as it really didn't fit (in my ind) into any sub-genre. I gave this book a 3 out of 4. The review is posted on my blog. http://soapboxinmymind.blogspot.com

Hi, Angela. Just an FYI: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is a true crime story. :-)

Jenny Q (jenny_q) I just visited Savannah where they call it "The Book". I haven't read it yet, myself.

Angela (leavesofheritage) | 5 comments Hera by Julien Longo

I finished Hera, by Julien Longo. This would fall into Historical Fantasy because it is a depiction of Atlantis in Greek times, with Greek mythological characters. Really well done. You can read my review here: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/87...
