Erstwhile LFPC member, contributer, discussant leader and the person who introduced me to Goodreads, Rashida, has given birth today 12/08/10 to baby girl Zenani Aida. Zenani, also the name of Nelson Mandela's daughter who just this summer had her life tragically shortened in a car accident, also happens to be my very first grandchild. We envision Zenani continuing the liberation struggle into the next generation!
