Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments I thought this one was ok, not great. I did like that it was different from so much of the YA stuff out there. I will read the next one to see if it gets better.

Yup, feel exactly the same way. Like the series, but not love it. I think the next book will help decide if I think this series is good or just meh.

Paula (pauldajo) I enjoyed listening to Paranormalcy. I don't know how I'd feel about reading the book. It's a definate young teen book. I hope the 2nd audio download in the series isn't expensive. They seem to have a low price on the 1st book's downloads and then raise the price on the 2nd. I understand the reason, just don't like it.

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments I felt the same Darcy and Zuleika.

Paula, I have found that too. The first Tairen Soul was only $10. I can't even find the third...

Samantha | 432 comments I'm going to have to go with the consensus here. I liked it enough to finish the story, but it definitely felt like the first book from the author. The guy (I can't remember his name and it's not even been a month) was vanilla, but the girl had a nice attitude.
I may continue, but I'll likely wait to see what you guys say. ;)

Whitney (whitneychakara) | 1272 comments I loved the book because it was so different the take on the paranormal.

Can't believe I didn't comment. Loved that it was different, but needs to improve. There was a lot of down time when I was jst bored.

Jami (gurugoodwin) | 53 comments I really enjoyed this book and that the characters were so different. Was a little disappointed in the ending. Just thought it needed something more.

message 10: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) I was completely disappointed with this one. Didn't care much about any of the characters one way or the other, and rated it just barely okay. Won't bother with any more in the series.

Love the world and Evie!

I liked the first book but never got around to the 2nd or 3rd.

At this point I'm pretty positive I will get 2 and 3 this year. Depends if the group I'm reading it in will want to do a monthly buddy read for them or not.
