Castillions discussion

Fans of Nathan Fillion's Fox show 'Firefly' no doubt have noticed several Firefly references on Castle. Feel free to discuss and point them out in this thread.

Probably the biggest one was in 'The Vampire Weekend'

[Castle enters the room, dressed as Mal from Firefly]
Alexis: Hey.
Castle: Hey... I was just trying on my Halloween costume.
Alexis: What exactly are you supposed to be?
Castle: Space cowboy.
Alexis: Okay. A: there are no cows in space. B: didn't you wear that, like, five years ago?
Castle: So?
Alexis: So, don't you think you should move on?
Castle: I like it.

And then there was the "Third Encounters of the Murderous Kind" where he speaks Chinese.

there were more than that though.

There were a couple of dialog references as well. A couple of quips here and there.

I love the one in Coutdown! I can't rember it though, hummm....

Also I was watching Bones the other day, and they had a firefly refence!!

"It's like you,(Zach)I tell you to take out the trash, you watch re-runs of Firefly." hahaha

I just starteed so that was in season 1

I remember that!! I just started to watch Firefly last weekend...

Ooh how is Firefly so far for you? ;-) Don't you wish Gina Torres was cast as the new Capt? So much potential there!

Oh I saw that on Bones and just laughed out loud! Love things like that so much!

I absolutely loved that one, it makes me laugh every time, it is by far the best! I love it when Alexis says he wore it about five years ago (around the time of Firefly) and he goes "I like it." LOL.

Don't know if people caught this one, but there was an ep last season starring the guy that played Jayne. His character swindles Castle into giving him his brown leather jacket.
