I found out about it and FireFly thanks to your excellent method of brainwashing :pBtw not all shows Nate was on were cancelled; 2 Guys and A Girl?
Excellent method of brainwashing? Whatever do you mean....? *innocent look*
Yep, not all. The shows he was on were cancelled, which is why I mentioned "several shows he was on" :p

I have this website I go to for watching episodes I missed. I saw "Castle" on the menu and I was hooked. Still haven't caught up on the episodes though.
I was hooked from the beginning. I kept seeing it advertise, and I recognized Nathan Fillion from "Firefly", and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." It looked interesting enough, and I like cop shows. So I tuned in for the pilot, and never looked back. The wit, and verbal sparring between the characters is what draws me in. I love the cast. I have yet to find myself bored with it at all, and that's rare for me when it comes to a show.
My family watches series together and we started watching Castle. But I'm getting so frustrated - my parents and brother don't like it as much as I do, and we're taking a "break" between Season 2 and Season 3 to watch the 4th season of Chuck. It's so annoying! I'm reduced to watching Seasons 1 and 2 over and over again whenever I want to watch Castle, until my silly family decides to start watching Castle again :(.
It is nice that your family does that but don't wait on them. Watch it! Then when they are ready you can watch it again with them. Double dose of Castle. :)

I would totally do that if I could - I wouldn't mind a double dose of Castle! Problem is, we don't even have the 3rd Season on disc yet, so I don't even know how to get a hold of it without my parents finding out! I don't want to wait for them, but they wouldn't approve if I watched ahead. :( Stuff this, there's got to be a way...
Amanda wrote: "Oh yeah there is always a way. So we need a plan. Okay let's think like Castle. How to do this.":) Great to have some help! I already tried internet streaming (I know, I'm ashamed of myself, but I was getting desperate) but my internet is too slow!!!
Hey, guess what? I tried asking! :D My brother and my mum both said that I could watch ahead if my dad would agree to watch it with us after I've already seen it - my dad doesn't like Castle very much *shakes head in disbelief*. If this doesn't work I'll ask you for a plan B :).
Oh shoot okay plan b. IT'S going to need some work. Do you have cable? Like TNT channel is rerunning the first four episodes. They just started a week ago. They are still in the first season I think. Possibly when they get to the third you could watch then or record and watch.
Amanda wrote: "Seasons not episodes. My bad."Nah, I don't think we do :( I live in NZ, so...
Good plan otherwise tho :).
:) I appreciate your help. I will certainly keep you updated as to whether I can come up with something, or if one of my previous plans work :).
I got into Castle because I like Nathan Fillion's acting. The rest of the cast just clicked right away and I love both the mystery and the humor.
I really loved Nathan Fillion and his excellent character in Firefly and so my sister found Castle and we watched it together and that's basically it. Nathan Fillion is so sexy! :D

Haha, I agree with you completely! That's kind of how I got into it too - just it was my family involved rather than a sister (which I don't have :( )
Anna wrote: "Could Nathan Fillion be more sexy and still be awesome, is beyond me?"oh that is so it!
My mom would always watch it and one night I just decided to join her. Since then, I've been hooked!!! I haven't missed an episode in two years!
I knew Nathan from watching Desperate Housewives, a few months later I saw on tv that there was a new crime series.. I love watching crime and watch the first episode. Loved that show right away
I dont have a job at the moment so during the day I watch Bones. Castle comes on right after Bones. Now Ive heard of the show but I just thought I watch so many crime/police shows so this would just be one more.. So I never watched it.. Well since I don't have a job i watch it now after Bones. I loved it. Then I found out the books were real. I always love TV shows that are associated with a book series. They are always the best... So I caught up out of order but enough to watch them when they aired this season. <3
