Joe Leo's Book of the Month Club in Defiance of Oprah's discussion

Well, bad timing all around. MY choice of a hefty novel coupled with my father's hospitilaztion and surgery this week (it all went well!) has left this club dead in the water.

But I'm not one to let a book club go gentle into that good night, no. So, as of the first of August we will start over. I'd really love to hear some suggestions, this could be fun :)

Ok . . . I'm fudging the rules (and so early on!). We (by which I mean me and Joan and, um, I have no idea who else) will continue to plow through IT for a second (bonus!) month.

'Cause it's a big one. A whale of a book.

One could say it's the Moby Dick of novels.

Right, moving along . . . with all the hospital drama lately I haven't done much reading at all. So, forgive me. We'll finish this one up then start fresh in September (which also happens to be my birthday month!). Alright troops, get engrossed . . .
