I don't do challenges like that cuz I just plain don't have the time to mess around with that stuff. Plus I'm all about pulling challenge books from stuff I already own or plan to read. I won't get other books just for a challenge.
She was just trying to give you a way to look up new authors by imputing authors you already enjoy;)
You don't have to use that site to participate :D

I think it's a great idea--I'm still thanking the person who rec'd fictfact.com - love that site. And I always appreciate a new spin on a challenge. Same old same old gets boring.I'm not participating cuz I'm not a big PNR reader and don't have plans to read any sexy men covers in the near future. :)
But I'm off right now to the literature map site to see if I can stump the site. Let's see if they can find me someone new to read. :)
Oh you don't have to read PNR or UF to participate! :D Thats the beauty of the challenge area :)
We try and choose challenge topics that are generalized so that members can choose books of any genre to fit with them :)

Hmmm...let me go back and check out my January TBR to see if I can find a cover with any man, not necessarily a half naked one... ;)
made a couple of changes to the first one...you don't necessarily have to use lit-map, so a new to you author as well, or any author - not necessarily PNR/UF. hope that helps some people

Thanks ladies! I've got to read all the books I can before I start my classes at the end of the month. Anatomy and Microbiology in the same semester is not going to leave me much time for leisurely reading!
have fun with that - I have qualitative analysis and principles of psychological coaching right now (plus a 2 week analysis course for work)

As always you can pick how many books you want to read in each category 2, 4, 6 or more
1. Out with the old (well maybe) and In with the New (hopefully)
One of the things I love about the new year is trying out new things and a great resource I have found recently for finding new authors is Literature-map.com. For this category, using the above website, plug in the name of a favorite author and read a new to you author who shows up (if no one new to you shows up, then read one which you haven't read a lot of) OR read a new to you author
2. Male Watcher Day
Yes, there is indeed such a day - January 8th is National Male Watching Day and I for one am definately going to be participating ;) In honor of this auspicious day, chose a book that has a hot/sexy man on the cover (plus it will be a great way to warm you up in these cold winter months ;) )
