I like these books, the heroine is fun. I don't care for the 3rd book's cover, it just doesn't seem to match the other ones.

If they were going to go all cartoon looking, they should have at least kept the same font or something to tie the books together.

Is it possible that the third one is a different country's release? Covers tend to vary between countries.

You're right, Darcy, it doesn't match the others, but taken on it's own I really like it (plus, it doesn't hurt that he's one of my fav fantasy artists, either).

@Stacia, it looks like between 2 and 3 it's different publishers, could that be it?

It isn't that I don't like book 3's cover, just that it seems odd for it to have such a big change.

You're right it does, and it actually makes it worse for the author because her readers may get confused and think it's another series entirely.

3 is actually my favorite, but it does seem silly to mix it up when the series has already been established.

The covers were what drew me in to the series... Love the cover of the first two books!
MARK OF THE DEMON was amazing and BLOOD OF THE DEMON too so I think I'll continue with SECRET OF THE DEMON... once I get my hands on it.

Secrets of a Demon was really good. Kara is making friends and learns a lot about the demons in this one.

This whole series is really good, but I think the third is my fav so far :)
