Has anybody read anything by Mr. McCarthy? I read The Road. I didn't know what to think of it, but looking back, it was really good! I just ordered Blood Meridian, which I heard is being made into a movie as well.

No I haven't read anything by him, but you got me curious, so I'll look him up.

No but isn't he responsible for No Country for Old Men?

I looked him up on goodreads, and his books sound interesting. His Book, The Road sounds like one I might read. Was the movie based on the book "The Road," titled the same?

I read All the Pretty Horses. I wasn't a fan of his writing style, so I haven't picked up a new one since then...it did sort of haunt me thought, the book...but I have trouble with the lack of quotation marks and dialogue tags.
