Blaed breathed heavily as he sat down on one of the benches that circled the training area. He had been sparring for hours with his longsword and had worked up a sweat. He pulled a rag out of his pocket and wiped off his forehead as he tried to catch his breath.
Elizabeth sighed as she headed to her room. She wanted to change out of her short pink fitted dress. She loved to dance but she hid it from everyone.
((can someone please make a boy for Elizabeth?))
((doesn't matter. Actually, mrs J.D can Adrian like elizabeth?))
Elizabeth heard some knights training. She changed her mind and went to the training area. She put on her cloak and stayed hidden.
Blaed stood back up after a few minutes. He went over to the barrel of water sitting in the shade and dunked his head into it. He stood back up and pushed his dripping hair back off his forehead. With an eager grin, he jogged back into the training area to spar with another knight.
Blaed saw Adrian jog off and then quickly turned his attention back to his partner. After quickly defeating and 'killing' him, Blaed followed after Adrian.
Blaed grinned happily, proud. "Thanks, Adrian" he said. Even though he was older, the younger knight's praise meant alot to him. "You're doing really good, too"
Blaed swallowed and opened and closed his mouth several times. He couldnt find words though and finally just settled and nodding. After a moment, he remembered himself and bowed before the queen.
Blaed repeated his actions, opening and closing his mouth a few times before choking out "Blaed, your majesty"
"W-when will we be accompanying you, ma'am?" Blaed asked. He noticed how beautiful she was and quickly looked down, blushing the tiniest bit. How could he think that way about his queen?
Blaed nodded in agreement with Adrian. "There is no inconvience, your majesty" he assured her. "Please, just tell us your wishes and we shall follow them"
Blaed looked at Adrian, then Annabelle, then the other knight before following him to the side. "What will we be doing?" he asked the older man.
Blaed nodded. "You're right. Can you believe this? I dont think we could be any luckier" he said, slightly giddy with excitement. He started walking toward Annabelle, trying not to notice her beauty.
((k))"I do not know, but we must find out and thank them" Blaed said. They walked up to the queen and princess and Blaed bowed respectfully.
Blaed stood in his place next to Annabelle's throne. He glanced at the empty king's throne and in his mind saw a fleeting fantasy of himself sitting there with her at his side. He shook himself, reminding himself that it was crazy, and paid more attention to what was going on.
Blaed smiled as he listened to the young queen settle everything. Finally, after hours and hours of listening to petty complaints, the stream of townspeople was gone. Blaed sighed in relief and slouched slightly against the wall behind him.
Blaed swallowed uncomfortably and quickly stood straight. "Oh, um, y-your majesty. Forgive me" he stammered.
Blaed swallowed again and felt his face heat as she touched him. Though it was just innnocent, he couldnt help his reaction. "Duty is much more important though. Knights do not need fun when they have more important things to do" he said stiffly.
Blaed nodded. "Our job is to protect those that do play and have fun. If we are out playing, who is there to protect the people?" he pointed out.
Blaed didnt say anything. He knew if he acknowledged that as the truth, he would be in trouble, but he couldnt lie to his queen.
Blaed squirmed slightly under her scrutiny. As soon as she was gone, he let out the breath he had been holding and started slouching again. "Are we still needed here?" he asked, calling over to Adrian.
Blaed shrugged. "I simply told her what it is that is expected of us. I fear she took it as an insult to her and her family though"
Blaed nodded. "I suppose you're right" he agreed as he followed Adrian. He thought for a moment. "Do you know if the queen is going to be married any time soon?" he asked suddenly, then blushed.
"I see" Blaed said softly. He didnt say anything else, lost in thought. He knew there wasnt anything he could do about it, but he hated the thought of Annabelle marrying another man. He hated that thought even more.
"Ah well" Blaed murmured. He sighed and looked over at Adrian. "I should probably go. I am guarding the ball tonight, I must prepare" he said softly. "I'll see you later" he added before walking away, toward the knight's berracks.
Elizabeth had always watched Adrian. He was very good looking and strong. She had grown a crush towards him. She stayed hidden. Her cloak covering her eyes slightly.
Elizabeth entered the ball wearing a beautiful light pink dress. She wore a small tiara. Elizabeth walked past adrian. She smiled shyly at him.
Blaed stood near Adrian, but far enough away for him to still be paying attention to his job. His eyes bugged out slightly when he saw Annabelle, but he quickly recovered himself, swallowing uncomfortably.
Paige did her rounds across the palace, wiping windows. She yawned quietly. She had been up too early and didn't appreciate having to get up to wash the multitude of windows in the building.
Elizabeth blushed softly but kept going. She knew she couldn't distract the young knight. She greeted some friends.
((so wait, is the queen her older sister then? Is that what was decided? And um, about the love triangle thing, I don't want to be rude but I'm not really for it. Those get confusing and it can get mean...I'm sorry...))

Elizabeth looked around for her sister. She knew anabelle most likely wouldn't approve of her liking him.
Blaed was supposed to be watching everyone at the ball, but somehow his eyes kept being drawn to a specific place: Annabelle. He hoped he wasnt too obvious as he watched her.
Will took a look out the window. He watched his older brother woo a girl. He took helped her over a mud puddle and took her to buy some sweets from a local bender.
Blaed blushed slightly when he saw he was caught. He quickly looked away, hoping it wouldnt be too obvious.
Elizabeth stood alone, to the side. A prince was staring at her and heading her way.
Blaed saw her spin off onto the dance floor and he swore. He suddenly felt a white hot hatred toward the man Annabelle was dancing with. He tried to squash the feelings, knowing nothing could come of it.
