Our first contest. It's a great memory. Especially the one amazing poet who one it. DoubleID. Icy Departure was amazing. It made me think and gave me inspiration. Made me love this stuff. It made me imagine with all of the detail.

The winner of the February 2011 contest is Harley! The title of Harley's amazing piece is "I Want". I could feel all the emotion you put into this poem as I read it. Congratulations to Laura on winning the March 2011 contest! Laura's amazingly awesome poem is titled "Midnight Sun". This was a dark emotional poem perfect for the contest. It showed true understanding of how to build suspense when in the last line the narrorator addmits it was their wife who got shot. This poem was well written and definately deserved to win! The style pulls the reader in and tells them a story in just the right amount of time. Another job well done Laura! A round of applause for you! Keep writing:D
