Zephrina was in her tree, listening to the sound of the wind in the branches, fanning herself with a warming breeze.

On the other hand, Larkin was running through the forrest. Thos da**ed dogs were right on his heels. He flicked his wrist, and the earth covered them. He ran and ran, until he had to stop.

Amber sat in a tree, quietly she leaped up the tree to examine the surrounding forest. ((hey i'm gonna delete Roger, i don't like his character))

Zephrina looked around. She had heard an unnatural rustling, and saw another girl in a tree close to hers. She dusted herself off and fluttered over. "Hello." She said.

Amber looked at Zephrina suspiciously, she generally didn't trust people. "Hello." she said cautiously.

"What are you doing up in a tree?" I asked. Curious as usual.

"I live in trees." Amber said a little hurt. Why should people not live in trees?

"I do too!" I said.

"Oh, ok." Amber said a bit taken aback she hadn't know anyone else lived in these woods.

I fluttered back to my tree and pointed at my initials that were carved into the bark.

Amber shook her head, "I can't read." she said, she had grown up in the forest and didn't know to much about the outside world.

"It's my initials." I said. I sat on a branch and fully extended my wings.

((There is no use for Larkin yet.))

"Oh." she looked at Zephrina's wings, "Do all people have wings?" she asked as she down a branch closer to Zephrina.

"No. Only me." I said sadly. My face gave away no emotion.

Amber due to her hyper sensitive awareness Amber heard her change in tone. "Then your like me, I am alone I have no one." Amber did not give away any emotion, she had excepted this fact long ago.

"Same." I said in a monotone voice.

"So how long have you lived here?" Amber asked, she was secretly pleased that she had met someone. The person she had ever talked to was her reflection in the river.

"All my life. I've always known here, and nothing else." I said.

"Same here." Amber said looking out to the distance, "Have you ever wondered what it was like out there?" she asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, but some people get freaked out by my eyes, or my breath, or my wings." I said akwardly.

"You've met other people?" she asked, Amber had never met a person before today.

Larkin ran past a girl, grabbing her arm and dragging her with him. "RUN!!!!!!!!!"

Natalie walked around the forest

The dogs came from the shadows, nipping at his heels

Natalie saw a girl look at something

((Larkin and Am-ti are being chased by dog monsters. O.O))

Tristan stared at the girl. "Yeesh!" He moved more earth to cover the little hole.

"Uuuummmmm..... Thos dogs were chasing me, they would've eaten you, sooooo I dragged you out of harm's way." He explained.

"No. I'm me and they're evil. Sorry, but if you were in my position you'd get this." He said sadly.

"I'm saying, they want me, 'cause I'm me." He muttered.

He shook his head. "Nah. You're fine if you forget you ever saw me." He looked at the sky. "Well.... bye." He walked off into the shadows.

Larkin scaled a tree close to the girls.

"I don't mind, i have no idea what normal is so everything seems strange to me." Suddenly Amber heard a branch snap, "Did you hear something?" she asked.

Zephrina looked around and growled. Her teeth elongated into fangs.

Larkin immediately stopped moving and breathing.

Amber scanned the tree and, despite Larkin's efforts, found her. "There!" she said pointing, she hopped from tree to tree and landed a branch above Larkin.

Zephrina flapped over to him and held a menacing claw under his chin.

Larkin just looked at them and didn't say a word.

"Wow two people in one day, this must be my lucky day." Amber said happily.

Amber looked at Larkin, "So who are you and what made you decide to stop in the woods?" she asked.
