Hawkfeather prowled under the low bushes, he smelt a mouse, a freshly-fed mouse..He licked his lips and instantly spotted it. He widened his eyes, crept froward and at just the right time, he pouced and hit it on the head, killing it. He covered earth over it and walked to the river. He lifted his head, closed his eyes and relaxed.

Everbell was calmly sorting through her herbs, pushing those of the same type into specified dips that were dug into the soft ground. "...The camp is so quiet right now..." She mewed, sighing.

Hawkfeather walked back to camp with his prey and distributed his catches to the fresh kile pile. He walked into the medicine den over to Everbell and tapped her lighlty on the shoulder with his tail.

Everbell jumped, spinning around, frightened. "Oh... It's just you, Hawkfeather..." She breathed, sighing in relief. "You don't have to sneak up on my like that, you know!" She meowed, a flicker of annoyance twitching through her whiskers. "Anyways." She said, licking her chest to calm herself, a friendly tone seeping back in. "What do you need? Did you get a splinter in your paw or something?" She mewled, getting up and padding around him.

"Sorry Everbell.."A slight guilty, "And my gash from the fight hasnt properly healed and I was out hunting and it suddenly hurts. It may be nothing serious but, just to make sure, could you check it?" Hawfeather asked.

"The one on your stomach?" Everbell asked, concerned again. "Has it split open again?" She questioned, prodding him to roll onto his back. "I think I might have some Willow Bark left over from the last time I went out... Here, chew on a piece, and make sure you come back to me before you go to sleep tonight for some Poppy Seeds. I've also been hearing that you haven't been sleeping well..." She gave him a hard glare. "You know that isn't good for your body, right?"

Hawkfeather winced a little and said,"I know, I haven't, but I can't control that right? It's the nightmares..."He shook his head as if shaking the thoughts out and he looked at her,"I will try to sleep better,I promise Everbell."

Everbell's tail twitched, and she sighed. "Just try to have a good meal before you go to sleep tonight. I have to give you the seeds after you eat though, so promise you'll remember." She meowed, sitting on her haunches as she inspected the scar. "...well, it didn't split, so that's the good news. But don't put too much strain on it. No swimming for now, okay?"

Hawkfeather sighed and said,"Okay."He got up and dipped his head,"Thank-you Everbell..I will come later for the poppy seeds."

Everbell smiled and let out an amused murr. "Just keep this in mind; if I find out that you've been swimming later... I will keep you in my den until that scar fully heals and not let you do anything. So be good, okay?~" She said, her tail swishing happily.

Hawkfreather nodded and said,"Thank you." Again and strode out of the den.

Everbell meowed in farewell, then turned back to her herbs, sorting them back into their notches in the ground.

Hawkfeather walked outside and walked to the middle of the camp, lookign around.

Hawkfeather smiled and said,"Good morning Rainpaw."
