Should have read classics discussion

Lisa got me thinking, what are the best books you've read this past year? It might be a good way to get exposed to books we might not have known about.

For me, hands down, was the best book I read. It is so hard for me to express exactly how much this book touched me. It was such a beautiful and heart wrenching story. I have never been so profoundly moved by a book before.

Hmmmm, that is a difficult question. Two of my favorites, were and . I also enjoyed , and for my paranormal fix. I also enjoyed and . I guess I can't make up my mind.

Can't make up your mind...so unlike you Lisa. I loved the (even with my issues with Mockingjay). I also was inspired by . It really helped me appreciate food and everything that goes into producing it (loved that book!).

Lisa, I've been wanting to check out the Vampire Academy. Glad you liked it.

Kerri, American Terroir sounds so interesting. We watch Top Chef all the time. Hopefully one day when my kids are older I'll have time to explore finer cooking.

I did like Vampire Academy. I became hooked on the whole series for that matter!

I forgot about The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I really enjoyed that one also. It might be easier for me to put down the books that I did not like in 2010.:)
