I finished at 10 last night-that's a record for me!
The Romanian Vampires were hilarious, but the whole time that the Volturi were there, (yes! I knew that the Volturi would come back!) I was freaking out, and saying "this is SO not good..."
Reneesme was so cute! I loved her a lot. (who doesn't?) I was shocked when Jacob imprinted on her though. And Bella's power is awesome! I agree with Felix there-immortality suits her. XD

Stephenie Meyer wanted it to happen, so she just ignored that rule and hoped people wouldn't care. Or that's my guess, anyway.
I think most people had these ideas and thories about how the book would turn out that it might have taken them by surprise (I know it took me by surprise) and so they were disappointed because it didn't write the way they saw fit but I think Stephanie was brilliant. I have to admit that I had my own theories about how the story would go but I'm glad Stephanie did it her way. It was a happily ever after though I do wish there was more fighting with the Volturi. And about the pregnancy thing, It explains about it whan Bella finds out she's pregnant. Women's bodies have to change and grow in order to have a baby and when they turn into vampires they are frozen in that state but males don't change to get someone pregnant and don't change when they become vampires. They also talk about the Incubus legend that has something to do with what's happening.It has never been tried before with a vampire and human couple and when it was done back in the day, it killed the mothers. I'll find the chapter for you though and let you know.
Yes, a lot of people spent hours worrying about what would happen in the book. I tried not to focus on that, and it was NOT helping the anticipation for the book release. When we first discovered Bella was pregnant, I was disappointed, and a little irritated. I didn't see that coming AT ALL! I couldn't see how it would all work out. But I tried to remember that I have loved everything I've read by Meyer, and just decided to go with it, and not question it. I am so glad that I did that. I really enjoyed the book, and have already started re-reading.
Can you believe that the beginning startled me so much, that I almost quit reading halfway through? I'm glad I didn't though. This book has become my second favorite (Twilight being my first). I didn't see the pregnancy thing coming at all either. I was shocked, actually. What did you guys think of Reneesme? I personally loved her, but, like Bella, I have a hard time sticking with the stupid nickname.
i dont like the name nessie. :( but i luv Reneesme. the name and her lol.

i just say nessie everywhere so it doesn't give away much or spoil much. :P

I must say that when I read this book there were two parts that made me want to quit reading it entirely. Bella being pregnant( just because I thought it was going to be dragged out through the whole book) and Jacob imprinting on Renesmee( that was really cheesy but worked out great with the story) I avoided all the spoilers about this book and was glad that I did because I was able to enjoy BD. I'm not big on happily ever after but the ending was fitting
I am soooooooooooooooooo happy that I finished BD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took me a week to finish and I got seasick in the process (don't ask) BUT I FINISHES+D!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The seasick part wasn't fun though...
My friend invited me to her aunts boat on lake michigan. So we get out on the lake, and we decided to go down stairs to get our books. When we got up, we were so dizzy. But I got to read a little bit!
But oh well! I FINISHED BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!!!!
Would anyone believe me, if I said I finished it in less than 24 hours?
I know lol! It took me forever but I read till like 11 each night
i just got it on friday cuz i could never make it over to the bookstore, and then of course i had to babysit right after (im amazed the house was still standing- ah the power of tv) and then on saturday i had to go to a birthday party!!!! but i finished it yesterday and now im re-reading it!
I read all 4 books in 7 days exactly. I am a stay home mom with 3 children, ages 11, 10 & 8. I stay very busy with them. I would stay up until 2:00 am every night reading until I was done.I loved all 4 books. I am rereading them again, well twilight before movie comes out.

I love the Romanian vampires. They were hilarious.
I don't like Bella's kid. Reminds me of Claudia from Anne Rice. Kinda creepy. But it's cool that Jacob imprinted, though I was hoping he and Leah would get together. They're fellow souls: obnoxious, funny, and they both love someone that can't love them back.
