Since no one gave me suggestions, except Leo (Stray), I just put her suggestions as the group read for January! Obviously you don't have to read this novel (Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly), nor the other, but if you do.. please come here to discuss it! Watch for spoilers though, thanks! :)

Ooh, I went to Books-A-Million and saw that book! I was about to get it too.... Looks REALLY good. :)
I can't wait to read this, everyone I've talked to says it is AMAZING! I'm sure it'll make for a good discussion as well:)
I have a copy of this sitting on my shelf and I really liked her other book A Northern Light so I am excited to see what I think of this book.
A liked a Northern Light, but it was kinda hard to get into, at least for me. I just started Revolution, and it's pretty good. Mackenzie, A Northern Light is about a girl who takes a job at a hotel and is given a bundle of letter to burn by a guest, but instead of burning them reads them.
A Northern Light is a little bit more than just a girl who takes a job at a hotel. The story is set in the past and it is about a girl who grows up on a farm and she decides to get a better paying job and so she works at a hotel. The letters that she needs to burn are letters from a guest who has been killed. The girl tries to figure out how the woman was killed while helping her family and growing into her own.
