I have loaned out my book 1 of this series so I can't quite place through Chapter 6..
But I LOVED this book and I loved the characters of Patrick and Jessica...
I think I would adapt well to being a vampire if I woke up with my lips and teeth anywhere on Patrick's body.
I will try to get my book back and contribute more lol.

Hi gals! Yeah I really liked the beginning! Action right away...Jessica is hilarious! Oh boy Patrick didn't wear much clothes in chapters 1-6, lol! It also made me smile and blush when Jessica needed to *ahem* feed. Oh and I really like the cover of the book it's strangely pretty =)

Felicia, like you I blushed a bit which is no easy task for my brown Hawaiian skin.

I also agree that I like the build up of these first 6 chapters. The ground world is written well and it makes the reader really want to know more!

Hi, yes I did finally get the book. I...well, Patrick's hot, and arrogant and yes Jessica's death/not death, and Lorcan were important to get the book going. Good beginnning, but I... I'm not sure I really care about Emily's (ahem, you know), or all the other people in the town being ahem, you know. (for what purpose did that happen?) But you know, I think the thing that's stumping me the most is that I feel certain I've read this book before. Or at least these chapters felt really familiar. I'm not sure yet what I think about the book, but I'm waffling about finishing it, sorry to say. :(

I agree with Felicia. But as you push on if it's not your cup of tea- no worries.
