I write mostly poetry. At this time I'm really interested in art based poetry, also called as ekphrastic poetry.
I looooove African American Fiction and poetry!!!!
You know what, I guess the best word to describe my preferences in books is "eclectic." For example, I enjoy the goofy adventures of Jeeves and Wooster, but I also like Hemmingway. I enjoy an entertaining mystery (Nero Woolfe) but I also like serious biographies...I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in...
I'm a big Christian Fiction fan. Please visit my blog at www.rhondamcknight.net and I have a group here on Good Reads for Urban Christian Fiction. When I'm not reading CF it's suspense and legal thrillers.
I just want to be entertained by reading, so a good title and cover will grab me. I'm the person sitting on the floor in the bookstore or library reading through the first chapters to see if this will get my attention span. In all honesty, it just depends on where I'm at in life. Right now, I'm really trying to make a stronger mind and body connection, so I read ALOT of books about herbology, nutrition and yoga. And throw in the occassional fiction easy-read to break-up the monotony.
