Name: SummerAge:16
Appearance: Black, with Gray Eyes. glasses. about 5'4" in height
Personality: Energetic, friendly and just fun to be around. also serious when concentrating or in a problem. fierce fighter. Loyal and will do anything for those she loves.
Takara walked in to her new cabin and put her things down on one of the bunks in Hecate's cabin.
"Hello?" She called. "Any siblings of darkness and mischief in here with me?" She sighed and curled against the nearest shadows and completely melted in to them.
"I guess I'll wait here." She said and chuckled

Takara stepped out. If Summer saw her then she was obviously a Hecate girl just like her. "Hey!" She said brightly. "Was hoping you were a Hermes wandering in to filch some stuff thinking this place was empty. Wanted to scare them ha."
Takara held out her hand that was dancing with shadows weaving in and out of her fingers like dark threads. "I'm Takara Miyagusuku, obviously a Hecate. Most people call me Taka, those I've also been known to go by my 'Americanized' name Callie."

Summer took the offered hand, "Hey Taka. I'm Summer. Unfortunatly, I'm Hecate as well. Sorry to dissapoint. :)You can call me Sum. So you new?"(remind what Hecate is the goddess of again?)
"Yeah, I'm new. What about you? How long have you been here at camp?"
(Hecate is the goddess of magic and of cross-roads)
(Hecate is the goddess of magic and of cross-roads)
(thanks!)Summer sat down on a bed across from Taka's. "Um I've been here about two years. It's been kinda lonely. I've been building a lot of my skills. So are you gonna be an all-year boarder? What is your family stat?"
"Well I'll probably be here all year. My father and three half sisters live in Japan. I was born here in New York though, it's where we are originally from which is why I don't look Asian despite the name." Taka grinned. "What about you? Where are you from?"
"Kentucky. We lived on a farm and raised horses. Some made it to the Kentucky Derby. My dad remarried when I was 6 and you know the Cinderella story. The kids were twins. Victor and Victoria, the stupidest names for twins ever. My dad knew that my mom was Hecate, he being a demigod himself. But not to worry, I'm not a God or anything. Just another Demigod. Anyway, so when I was claimed, my dad sent me here as a Year Long Boarder. He told my steps I was a Girls boarding School. Which is technically true. I visit him around holidays, or if he comes here on Business trips. But yeah that's my life."
Summer added, "Oh and if you're wondering. There was no Prince Charming. Just the step-evils. As Margaret Peterson Haddix so elequently called them in 'Just Ella'"
(Haddix = love)
Takara nodded. "Well speaking of Haddix, next time the younger twin gives you trouble tell him or her that you are going to call the Population Police on them for being a third child." She teased. "My siblings know about me being a demigod, the youngest is actually a Hecate too but she won't be joining us for a few years."

(I know!)Summer smiled, "Good Idea. I wish I had real siblings. Maybe a sister. Picky vicky as I like to call her doesn't count. Gosh she is rude and stuck up. She would so be a Drew. Wait have you met Drew?"
Takara nodded. "I have heard about Drew, but thankfully I have not met her yet. I'm glad though that Piper is the new head of that cabin, she seems worthy enough after saving Hera." She began unpacking her things. "Must have been cool to actually meet Hera, you know the numero uno goddess. Her cabin looks huge! All that space and no one even lives there since she doesn't do the whole 'infidelity' thing like the big thunderbolt."
Summer nodded. "Actually. There are some kids in the cabin. Twins actually. The daughters of Hera. They are super nice."(it's so funny how we keep referring to our other charries in our different RPs)
(ha ha yeah i know)
"Oh? Cool maybe I'll see them around." Takara flopped down on her bed. So, what do they offer for classes here? I mean I'm aware that this is all hero training but what does that mean? And more importantly, please tell me math class doesn't exist here."

Summer smiled, "No. Math ceased to exist once you pass the gate. It's like once you enter the Hero world it's all Hero. Unless you return to Human life, like my dad did. As for classes, there a a bunch. Weapon training, Ancient Greek, Horses and Pegasi. General Demi stuff."
"Thank Olympus no math." Takara grinned. "The enemy of all dyslexics huh? Wow, those classes however sound great. I can't wait to start. I think I'll go sign up later and see what I like. And no, I don't think I'll be returning to the human way of life. Being the demigod of the Goddess of magic is too fun to only be part time."
Takara nodded. "I don't think I'll live long enough to have that choice. Not the way things are going with the giants. Demigods are like dogs; we will be lucky to reach the eighteen year maximum."
Summar got out a pair of cozy PJ's. Lights out wasn't for another hour or so, but she liked to spend the evening in comfort. "Probably not."
Takara started playing with the shadows, forming them in to small shapes and eventually a cat that weaved in and out of her legs and even appeared to be purring.
"'Ello kitty."
"'Ello kitty."
Summer came out of the bathroom and saw Taka playing with the shadow. She formed another cat that approached Taka's.
Taka's cat acted quite excited to have a shadow friend to play with and soon the cats were appearing and disappearing in and out of the shadows. In Hecate's cabin there were plenty of shadows for her children to play with. Shadows were like their dolls, their action figures and toys. They made their own fun with them.
A while later, Summer's cat appeared tired and left Taka's cat. Summer lay down on her bed. "So Taka. are you a reader?"
"Yeah, I love reading. Haddix was the first series I ever read, and I read almost anything. What about you?"
Takara laughed. Her cat was twirling in and out of her legs again, purring softly. Shadows obeyed, turned in to animals the the children chose. It was thought to be a sign of maturity of the Hecate child when the shadow animal finally chose a set form to shift in to. The cat was sometimes a lion, panther or jaguar and so Takara had no doubts her animal would be from the cat family. "Senka, come here." She said and clicked her tongue. The shadow cat curled up in to Takara's arms and affectionately rubbed against her face.
"Oh yeah, I love them. Cats are awesome because they will love you forever, but also can be fierce and protect you just as well as a dog can." Takara petted Senka and let the shadows play along her face. "What about you? what will your shadow be?"
Summer, who was tired from the day, mumbled, "What do you mean shadow? oh like your signature one? Usually an amimal?"
"Yeah. Normally or an animal, though in some cases I've heard it can be a person. Those are testy though because they are capable of causing trouble."
"Senka behave." Takara ordered the shadow cat as she began to sniff Tavaris. The cat pranced back to her master and sat on the edge of her bed.
"Meooooow." She said. "Yes Taka." The cat said, her voice whispery, like a breeze. "I won't eat him."
Takara chuckled and scratched her cat's ears. "Good."

Takara laughed and nodded in agreement. "It seems like Senka like Tav too. Don't you girl?"
Senka nodded and stretched out to be pet.

Tav scurried up and sat in Summers hair. "So Taka, anything you are dying to know? About CHB or the people in it. I am here to expound your knowledge as long as I can."
Takara chuckled. "I've heard something about the Roman camp, I've always wondered....I always just assumed we were you know...mixed in. I never thought it mattered what form our parents took when we were born."
"Seriously, I think it's a bit weird that they do, but that's how it is. Yeah there is a Roman camp, In California. Percy Jackson, the Hero of CHB was sent there. If you've met Jason, he was sent here from the Romans. I don't have all the details but that's the jist of it."
"Interesting." She looked at Senka and smiled. "Minamino shimanisumu nakijakur,u kodomotachiwa yoruhahani tsurerarete hoshio miniyuku." It was an old Japanese lullaby her nanny had sung to her and her little siblings but worked fine on a cat.
