V.C. Andrews discussion

hi everyone! i have question about heavenstone series. i read the 1st one and i like it but it wasnt totally amazing i was a little dissapointed. has anyone read the 2nd one? would you say it is better than the first? or not as good?

I have both, but I have to say that I haven't even cracked the spine on either. :( Honestly, I truly feel that the books are getting a little predictable.

But that doesn't keep me from collecting in the least.
