Hey guys, this is just a fun challenge for those who want to give it a go.

Basically all you have to do is read 50 vampire books this year. The vampires in the book do NOT have to be main characters for the book to count. For example if you are reading a book about wolves and vampires just happen to make an appearance every now and then you can count that book towards your 50.

Please write down the title of the book along with the author and don't forget to number them.

Yay! I was wondering earlier if I was going to end up doing this challenge by myself LMAO

Now this sounds like fun! And Lovers Mine is awesome!!! You guys are going to love it! I love John!! I just finished it this week so that one will be My first :D (the rest of the BDB are Spectacular! Especially, my opinion, Zsadist, Vishous, and John's story!)

LOL so far my faves out of the BDB series are Rhage's and Vishous' stories. I'm still reading Phury's. Keep putting it down to read all the manga volumes I jut got out of the library hahahah

LOL now that's a good excuse! Manga! :p OHHH I cant wait to see what you think after your done... we need to have a section here where we can talk about each book or atleast the series! It would be awesome to know what ppl are thinking. There are many of us that are now reading it right?? Do u know?? Should i start a tread??

I think there are already threads up for different series. Just doublecheck before u make another one of the same. If theres nothing there then yeah, go for it and make up some threads, If I've read the books I'll definitely come along to discuss :D

Yep :) one vamp and he's mentioned twice (he's even in the HBP movie but only in the background once... At the Slughorn party by the group when Draco gets caught sneaking around. And than od course Lupin is a werewolf :). But the vamp is only in the HBP (book 6).

LOL... I kinda went on a L.J Smith kick (I wanted to finish what I started) and I have to say, she is not my fav but I finally finished. And I can't believe this bc I always like the book more than the movie or show but I will stick to the Vampire Diaires show!!! Smith drove me nuts! 0_0 lol

Seriously, I've heard bad things about the book version of Elena from almost everyone that's read the VD series lol. But yes, I will let you know as soon as I finish one of her books, which hopefully will be soon =D

LOL yep, I agree, Jeaniene's work is just freakn awesome! I recently finished This Side of the Grave and Vlad was in it for the better part of the book so that had me hooked LOL, he's my fave minor character! I'm waiting for a spin off series on him hahaha.

OMG LMAO Damn right I nagged and nagged you to read Rachel Vincent. Not my fault you only got round to it now =D. Oh but there is an upside to you putting it off: While you were doing that she finished the series lol so now you don't have to wait ages for the next one to come out haha

Did you enjoy Lover Enshrined as much as the others? I'm finding it hard to get through

That was the one that focused on Phury. Yeah, I didn't enjoy it as much as the other 5 before it. Phury's not really my favorite. I don't really know actually, just didn't enjoy it as much as the others.

I haven't read the next one yet. So, maybe it's not as good as the first ones either. Hopefully I'll read it soon.

Well I've only heard bad things about Phury's book. Lots of people are raving about Rev's book and John's book,so I expect they'll be a lot better than Phury's.

But yes, I agree that Phury's book isn't as enjoyable as the rest. I'm a quarter of the way through and can't wait to get on to the next one lol

I agree Phury was actually pissing me off and felt really frustrated with him and how slow he was on the intake LOL. Another one that was really annoying was Butch’s story (Lover Revealed) b/c it took so long to get to the point but when they did the book was awesome! it left me saying “wow seriously?!” lol I’ve read all of them and I loved loved… Zsadist (lover Awakened), Vishous (Lover Unbound), Rehvenge (Lover Avenged), and John’s (Lover Mine)!!!! 5 stars to John!!! Can’t wait to grab Lover Unleased!

I need to get back into them. The next one I'm supposed to read is Rehv's. Now I'm excited, cuz you said you loved it, Auroralumi.

@Alyssa...is the CoFA book awesome? I haven't read it yet, but I've heard so many people disappointed with it or something. And now I'm a little iffy about reading it now LOL.

I heard the same thing - about people being disappointed in it. I went out to get it from the Warehouse but changed my mind and got Lover Unleashed instead lol

I liked it, but it wasn't as good as City of Glass, IMO.

So is it really disappointing??? Is it better than City of Ashes??? I'm reading it now and I'm going to read it but just curious lol. Its one of our Book club reads and like to warn them not to expect too much out of it :p lol even though I love all the characters so just reading about them makes me happy :D

Oh yes, it's good. I agree with Stephanie. Watch out for the ending though.

That's so awesome! I'm trying to get there, but it's getting them that stops me from achieving my goal lol. I usually cant find the books I want, and then I have to wait for weeks after ordering them lol. But I might have a lookie at your list and add it to my TBR ;)
