Mojca | 84 comments I admit I imagine a deeper voice when I read Ash's lines, but this is cool.

Thanks.

Chasidy | 157 comments I totally agree with you. I thought it was going to be very deep and erotic, I personally think it sounds like Sin.

I agree. in my head ash had a deeper more mellow, weight of the world sound to his voice.

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments I have a copy of the audio book for Acherion and Born of Silence...the voice is the same person who does the audio books. Not quite how I thought of him either. But this was SOOO awsome!! Thanks for sharing.

Robbie Thornton (buttonbrite) | 36 comments I listened to all of the DH series on audio book with the exception of one book, Dark Side of the Moon, which was only available in the abridged version and I agree with Valarie, it sounds like the narrator Holter Graham's version of Ash. That's totally cool with me, since that IS Ash's voice in my head. Unless I just hate the way a narrator does a voice, I tend to adopt the narrator's version, after hearing it spoke that way so often.

Ash "died" when he was 24, so he's still quite young biologically. And no matter how big and bad Ash can get, I've always thought of him as innately compassionate. So I don't think a deeper voice would work for me.

I loved it!

hahaha I know what you mean Robbie, but it can be deceiving. I had a boyfriend when I was in my early twenties and when he came home with me the first night my dad thought he was 40 because he had a really deep voice. The then boyfriend was just a year older than me. :)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments That is interesting Manuela. I always find guys with really deep voices kind of amazing. Particularly as they have this big booming voice and sometimes a pretty frail body, lol.

Yeah I picture ash with a deeper voice, but the sexiness... :)

Rachel Smith (rlsauthor) | 626 comments His voice should definitely be deeper and more seductive. Tall men have deeper voices.

And the lady asking the questions totally should have gone to Sherri's site and looked up to how say his name...

Rachel Smith (rlsauthor) | 626 comments I want to feed spammers to Simi too!

Slick | 456 comments Holter Graham The Audiobook narrator?

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah he also (from the ones I've listened to, and not counting Acheron) narrates Devil May Cry and Bad Moon Rising
