i know it's an older book, but i haven't read it yet. it's third in the series.

This is the first book in the delightful Pendergast series.

Right now it is free for Kindle and Nook users but also available in paperback and kobo formats.

Hi Dalene. Faceless Killers was our group read back in Oct 2009. Would you like to nominate another book by a different author?
By the way, Faceless Killers is terrific.

Sorry, I did see that a few months ago on your bookshelf and just didn't remember. I just got it on audio and am excited to read it.
Okay, new nomination...
Whiskey Sour by J.A. Konrath

The first in this series was a group read last year and this seems to be now available in paperback. I just finished his first and can't wait to continue the series.

That's already been nominated Andrea (see list at bottom of very first post). Would you like to nominate another?

That one has been nominated already too, Fred. I've got the list posted at the end of the very first message. Want to nominate another?

Sounds a little too Fantasy/Paranormal, Jeff.
Would you like to nominate a Crime or a Thriller?

Tell No One by Harlan Coben has won the poll this month. Thanks in advance to Zen who will be our discussion leader.
I would like to have a second group read as well (seeing as we didn't have one last month). The runner up book is The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag. Heather is the designated discussion leader, but she has not answered my emails, so I will be stepping in for her.

Since we are a rather international group check to make sure the book is readily available. Is it available in paperback? Used? Your local library? The last thing we want is to nominate a great book that no one can get!
Finally, a word about series - the joy or bane of a mystery reader’s life! Please consider whether the book you are nominating would be best read by someone who has read all the previous books in the series or can be enjoyed by someone new to the series too.
Thanks for your cooperation!
Donna and Hayes
