You'll love this one...!! A book club & more discussion

Hi, I'm new here and I would really like some recommendations for books that have action/adventure and in which the main couple who not immediately fall in love (because those types of novels annoy me) but instead are either friends first or don't like each other but eventually fall in love.

Hmm, the only thing i could come up with right now would be the Gemma Doyle trilogy written by Libba Bray. It has his adventure, i wouldn't say there's a lot of action, but it sure is exciting.

I'm looking forward to reading more of hers...I don't like sappy romances, and I didn't get one, here...

I just finished two books by Laura Joh Rowland that I really enjoyed. They're about Charlotte Bronte, and involve her siblings to an extent, but also a man that works as an undercover operative for the British crown... Neither Charlotte nor this man, John Slade, can stand one another, but as the story develops, they form a friendship, which later turns to love... However, it isn't sappy, nor is it a "bodice ripper". Lots of adventure, a bit of mystery and suspense.

I am just going to start the Luxe Series tonight !! my 12y/o daughter is reading them so I like to join in .. they love it when you read their books ... I got it on my kindle and ready to go !!!
