It was a good story and see it from a child's point of view of life in a 11" x 11" size room. Its a poignant story and will remind you of people who were abducted in the past or present.
I would recommend it and see what you think. The characters are so real. It can take a while to get through the 1st 30 pages, but it grabs you afterwards.
I think I'm going to like it. I really love books where thet have a child as the main character.

I am looking for that book for awhile now, never being sure whether to buy or not. I read some very good reviews as well as some miserable once. A group read would definitely make me go for it :)
You can count me in too! Right now we are picking our reads for the next two months. Do we want to do it as a side read or just nominate for the next go around?
I just love James Patterson! It amazes me how he just keeps pushing out books and the quality doesn't seem to suffer.

But if you say a side read is what you want, I will go for it, I am ready for a few sleepless nites if the book is worth it. :)

Fiona, I read a bunch of Roddy Doyle books back in the early 90's when I was a nanny. I forgot how fun he was until I saw you recently read one of his books. I'll have to see if my library has any of his newer books.
