((Ya. In the actual book, there's a darkborn who's best friend is a lightborn. They've never seen each other, but they can talk to each other threw a thin wall, so they can be used in cases like that.))

Imoen sat back. right now she had no assignments. well, rigth now the bells hadn't tolled yet, so she didn't dare open her curtains to let the darklight through. they would come. Imoen was patient. she had learned to be patient. trust me, it didn't come naturally

Laken was laying awake in his bed. He had been awake for hours. To pass the time he experimented with his sonn- he cast it in different directions in his room at different strengths, just to see the different outcomes.

It would toll soon... it would toll soon... come on toll..... Imoen hated living in the drabness of the hoise. it wasn't dark, it was gloomy. outside had a freser, more exhilarating darkness. comeon bells....

As Laken sent out sonn after sonn, confusing images of the room from all angels echoed back to him. He rolled over and attempted for the hundreth time that night to get a few more minutes of sleep.

.... waht was that? now she was imagining things. she risked a tiny peek out of the windows, ready to snap the curtains shut at the slightest sign of burning. but she was RIGHT! the bells had TOLLED!!! HOORAY FOR BELLS TOLLING!!!

Laken groaned at the sound of the bells and rolled out of bed and onto the floor. Literally.

(how bout a main villain causing a time space disruption causing multiple realitys to fold over one another creating a nexus of universes?)

(sorta, you just have one main person be the villain then have him do a certain thing e.g try to harness the power of the universe, in doing so he pulls the very fabric apart causing time spills, time spills could be elements of other universes being pulled into our own or parts of those universes are added to ours. some people from said universes converge to try and repair the rips by returning the harnessed power but due to the villain using it becomes a sort of deity but has a substantial weakness which is discovered in the final confrontation before which the people have banded together to take him down and restoring peace to the universes. but its just an idea)

(what about a twilight point which is like neutral zone for all because it is neither lightborn or darkborn but the result of the universe and all others being split down the line between the two and on certain times/days the line widens allowing people to slip through)

((well, universe ripping ones. hahah jk... Well, the darkborn and lightborn can usually do a wide variety of spells, so your charrie should be able to too, but obviously stronger than most. ))

(so would he be a mix of light and darkborn?)

((um, Lightborn and darkborn have the same powers.. ooh, maybe he could be a descendant of the lady who put the curse on the people, and therefore is except from the curse))

(yeah, that would work but then we need a way for the heroes to do what has to be done, btw do the people want to unite the 2 places or to destroy each other?)

((lightborns will probably try to unite the two and darkborns will probably be apathetic))

(cool, that way we now have a basis, the villain wants them gone, light wants to unite them, dark can side with the light and heroes/villains from other universes side with the respective sides)
