1. Jesus Died for This?: A Satirist's Search for the Risen Christ

This book was a great read! If you're a believer who has a good sense of humor that's outside the box you'll love this book.

2. Flirting with Faith: My Spiritual Journey from Atheism to a Faith-Filled Life

This book hit my spot completely! Joan writes in a down to earth way. She's not preachy or in your face. Her faith journey is believable and compelling.

3. Eat, Pray, Love

This book is beyond life altering! I'm so happy she wrote a sequel because I didn't want this book to end. If you haven't read this book yet it will satisfy you like a fine chocolate and make you feel as though you've just taken a most refreshing nap.

Mary | 31 comments Do read the sequel, it ties up some ends, and made me think of her as more "real" Can you imagine if everyone going though trouble could take a year off to travel? There'd be no one home!

4. Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace with Marriage

I love this book. It is written more like a personal essay, but still has Gilbert's charm and whit. She is truly a Kindred Spirit.

I did read it and loved it. Reading her books is like eating a delicious homemade meal. You don't want it to end.

5. Farewell to God: My Reasons for Rejecting the Christian Faith

This book felt like a condensed version of Godless. Not a hard read, but it was ho humly put.

7. Delirium

This book is beyond phenomenal. This book I'm hoping will go from #10 to #1. Lauren Oliver deserves it 100%. I thought her first book was amazing. This second novel is breathtaking. Every single page.

Oh, Delirium! I'm a huge fan of BEFORE I FALL and just haven't had the time to get to DELIRIUM, yet. I'm so very glad to hear you liked it!

Oh if you don't own a copy yet, definitely go out and buy one ASAP. I ADORED Delirium. I love Before I Fall. I thought that one was the cream of the crop, but now Delirium is it. I'm wanting to find others who have read it who I can talk to. It's such an incredible book. I can't wait for you and others to read it.
