Nightfall...Roleplay- random topics discussion

Life was a shadow passing by filled with all kinds of things....but one day a group of people decide to go camping. In the middle of the night they hear whisperings and noises...eerie and not at all human. Before they know it...a bright light shines into the camp. Attacked by aliens you...one of the campers wake up strapped to a strange bed like thing in a weird place with tools next you that you've never seen before....the roleplay is about escape and death...fight back and get home before you are completely taken over....

(rp can start from when you are attacked)

Malcolm woke to a start...those dang girls....never could keep it down. He sat up and rubbed his eyes and pulled on his outer wear. He realized that everything was dead silent...,but what about that noise? He pulled a black pen into his pocket...in case he came across the sleeping guys that deserved a prank. The air was wrong....something wasn't right.

Jen rolled over before allowing her anxious nerves to wake her up. She had never felt so restless in her life. What was wrong? It was quiet...wait...no crickets....no night time noise....how unusual? She slipped on some warmer clothes before peeking out of the door of the tent...she wanted to take a walk and see if she could walk the restlessness away.

Kherilyn yawned and stretched in her sleeping bag, blinking up at the dim shadow of the tent above her. What the-? At the lack of sound --even the crickets were quiet for goodness sake!-- she shivered and sat up, slowly slipping out of her sleeping bag without unzipping the zipper. She felt like she was making so much noise.
She crawled over her tentmates and slowly opened the tent door. It took her a moment or two to exit the tent without waking her friends, but it was worth it when she stood and realized she had to go to the bathroom. Great timing. Just great.

Penny asleep in her tent, she hadn't heard any noises. The night for her was as normal as she thought it could be. When Jen was walking out of her tent thats when she heard something, a twig on the ground breaking. she woke up fast but stayed in her tent. She was alone, for her it was scary... what was out there?

Malcolm raised an eyebrow when he saw Jen and Kherilyn coming out of there tents...perhaps it was the girls...for they are troublesome creatures, but the lack of noise from the forest world told him different. His eyes narrowed...something was out there.

Jen saw Malcolm and Kherilyn....Malcolm's expression was arrogant and accusing, but he meant well....he was only a boy after all....still...she wanted to know why she was so restless....the hair on her arms and neck stood up. "Kher....I think.....something's.....wrong."

Kherilyn nodded, eyes glinting in the light of the moon as she did. "I thought so too....what could it- what could it be?" she whispered, moving closer to her friend. She winced when she stepped on a stick. Note to self: put on shoes before going outside. Shivering, she added another item to her list. And proper clothes.

Penny heard voices... Jen and Kherilyn's. she started to feel a little bit safer but not entirely safe, she tried hard to listen to the night but as the others already knew there were no noises, what was going on? she didnt know.

Penny climbed out of her sleeping bad and out of her tent, she stood looking at the girls, they were the adults they should know whats going on.

Malcolm walked over to the girls. "I'm assuming you might know what's going on?"

"We only know as much as you do...which really isn't much at all," she said darkly.

Suddenly a flash of lights lit the sky...it was blinding...

Kherilyn put her arm up to sheild her eyes. "What in the world is going on?!" she exclaimed softly to no one in particular. She almost tripped, so she just stopped walking altogether. "Jen? Malcom?"

Penny looked up at the sky then quickly looked back down, she ran over to the girls. "Im scared."

Malcolm covered his eyes with one hand and with his other he touches Kherilyn,"I'm here."

Jen grabbed Penny's hand,"Guys..come on we should hide."

Kherilyn grabbed Malcolm's hand just to make sure he stayed close to her. "Kay...good....but what do you think this is?"

Penny held tightly onto Jen's hand and ran with them. "Where are we going?"

Malcolm started following Jen,"I couldn't tell you..." Stating in his own way that he didn't know what it was.

Suddenly there was a large noise and the sounds of things running in the forest.

Jen skitted to a halt,"What the hell was that?"

"Language," Malcolm said darkly.

Penny quickly stopped just behind her. She looked around, trying to see something but she couldnt.

"Oh come on, Malcolm, lay off. It's the middle of the night and-- oh my gosh!" Kherilyn jerked Malcolm close beside her and stumbled back. "What the heck is doing that..."

Malcolm's eyes narrowed as the light began to fade and something began to shift throughout the trees,"I wouldn't know..."

Suddenly something grabbed at Jen...she screamed and punched...nothing was there. Jen wrapped her arm around Penny's arm,"We need to get out of here and now...why aren't the others awake."

"That could be because there aren't here," Malcolm noted by the suddenly deserted tents.

Penny looked scared and shocked when something had grabbed at Jen. She looked around trying to find what ever it was.

Kherilyn gasped and struggled against something she couldn't see at all.

Malcolm pulled Kher nearer to him...then he felt something reach snapped him up. His eyes narrowed as he felt himself being carried away.

Jen turned around soon enough to see Malcolm being dragged away,"Malcolm!!!" She rushed to him. She didn't get far before she was snatched up as well.

Penny stood still watching as Melcolm and Jen we both being dragged away, she didn't want Kher to leave her to. "Kher?"

Kherilyn was so beyond confused. "What kind of freakish camping trip is this?" And then she, too, was gone.

((nope hahaha... she was shocked? .. lol))

Penny looked at Kherilyn and then suddenly she was gone. She was frightened, all alone. "Jen?!... Malcolm?! ... Kherilyn?! this isnt funny!"

((Hahahaha))

Jen fought against the unseen predator, but then she felt a sharp pain...and next thing she knew...she had gone limp.

Malcolm didn't fight...instead he observed his surroundings...but soon he too was limp...fallen into a deep sleep.

Kherilyn didn't even notice the sting, instead internally screaming as the light --and everything else-- faded from view.

Penny looked around trying to find them, she heard noises, but she didnt know where from. She ran around looking like a headless chicken, screaming. Soon she was hit, at first she thought she had ran into something hard but no she too was being taken away

Malcolm was the first to awaken as usual...he eyes focused on the darkness and bluish lights all around him. He couldn't move....he was strapped down onto whatever it was that he was laying on...and he observed with the turning of his head that there was a table full of demented looking tools that he had never seen....he didn't really want to know what they were for.

Jen woke with heavy breathing and panic...then she calmed down and took a breathe,"Kher? Malcolm?....Penny?" She whispered.

"Right here," Kherilyn said groggily, just waking up. She was normally the type to wake slowly. She grimaced when she saw the odd looking tools.

Penny was last to arrive, she woke just minuets after Kherilyn. she saw that she was strapped down and when she saw the tools she tried hard to get out of there

Jen sighed with some relief,"Where's Malcolm?"

Malcolm glared in her direction,"If you want them to hear you by all means continue talking...and Penny...you will only attract their attention."

Kherilyn sighed; why did Malcolm have to be so smart?

Penny stopped moving, and stuck her tongue out at him. smarty pants he was

Malcolm raised an eyebrow. He kept silent and looked around....there had to be something he could use to get out...or some way out.

Jen shook her head...it was just like Malcolm to be so....arrogant and intelligent at the same time.

((I love how he is only twelve going on thirteen and yet he's so.....high and mighty acting in a way....))

Kherilyn sighed quietly, staring at the ceiling.

((haha it makes Penny look and sound small... but other then that he's pre cool))

"Seeing your so smart, where are we and how do we get out?" Penny asked Malcolm, smiling and giggling at the same time

Malcolm sighed,"I'll tell you in a minute...now hush."

Jen looked at Kher and shook her head. Then she looked around,"Kher...what do you see around my side of the bed?"

"More of those weird...things, whatever they are. A short cabinet type thing...grates in the floor..." She really didn't want to imagine what those were for.

Penny layed on the bed type thing. "Well this is fun." she said in a sarcastic voice.

Malcolm squirmed and reached his his pocket for his pen. He shifted and got it into his mouth. He started working furiously.

Jen looked at him curiously,"I don't believe your only twelve....there must have been a mistake at birth."

"Oh probably," Kherilyn murmured.

Penny laughed and looked at him, "Oh wait. i have a scissors." She didn't know why she had them but she did

Malcolm smirked at the thing came undone...he sat up carefully and started working at the other straps. He looked at Penny.

"Can you move enough to get and use them?" Jen asked.

Kherilyn cursed the fact that all she had was her book.

She had already got them out of her pocket. "Ahh ill try." She started cutting one of the straps awkwardly

Malcolm raised an eyebrow before dropping his pen onto the floor...nothing happened. He sat there for a moment contemplating his next move. He slipped down...nothing happened. He picked up his pen and moved to Penny,"Give me your scissors."

Jen sighed...all she had was a deck of cards...wow...not very helpful. She watched Malcolm...he was a natural leader...he was super genius....and she hated that...

Kherilyn couldn't bring herself to hate Malcolm, because he might be their best chance.

Penny looked at Malcolm and gave him the scissors, she tried not to take his intelligence as a sign of hatred
