Second Book:
Camille by Tess Oliver 3/5 stars. All in all I am glad I read it, but it was kind of predictable and not really anything new. I was disappointed that it wasn't really about werewolves at all just the romance.
Third Book:
by Chloe Neill4.5/5 Another amazing book by Chloe Neill. Read the whole thing in one day. Hate that I have to wait another year for one. She has a real talent for making characters who you really want to care about.
Fourth Book:
by Amanda Hocking4/5 Stars. Trolls!?!? So awesome. Refreshing to read something not about vamps/wolves. However the plot was still pretty ordinary. However, I am totally in love with her main. He's kinda great. I am also currently reading another series by her and the main in that one is equally as amazing.
Fifth Book:
by Amanda Hocking4/5 Stars. Super duper in love with this series. Read this one in one day as well. Kinda totally and absolutely in love with Loki.
Sixth Book:
3/5 stars. Again there is great characters in this book but the plot is one I have read over and over. Still glad that I read it, and will purchase the rest of the series.
Seventh Book:
3/5 Stars. Opposite of book six. Okay story, but really don't like these characters for some reason.
Eighth Book:
4/5 Stars. Gotta love a good Irish main, and the whole "fairie" thing is starting to grow on me. Little dull in some parts, but overall a great book and can't wait to read number 3
Ninth Book:
3/5 Stars. Good story line, another book where I totally fell for the guy who doesn't get the girl. Hate that.

Ha! I know what you mean, I'm still hoping otherwise.

So glad I am not alone on this!!
Book Ten:
4/5 Stars. Love this series, love these characters, though it is a little weird having the same name as my favorite male in the series lol. I thought it dragged a wee bit in the middle, but still an awesome and recommended read.Book Eleven:
4/5 Stars. This is the second time I checked out this book, and I almost didn't get around to reading it this time either. HOWEVER Am I glad that I did. This is one of the most real, heart breaking yet uplifting books I have read in a very long time. My siblings and I all took ASL as our language option, so deaf culture and issues have always fascinated me, and this book did a great job of capturing the deaf experience. However, the one thing that kept this from a five star rating, is something I have already mentioned before. The book Hold Me Closer, Necromancer did an amazing job of capturing Seattle. Being that I have spent my entire life living in a Seattle suburb, I didn't feel that this book captured it very well. However, if I had never been to Seattle I would have absolutely no complaints about it.
Book 12:
4/5 stars. Gotta love any book with that much Poe! I am reading his completed works, so its was a very cool read. Drug along a little too much for my tastes at the end, but still a good read.
Book 13:
3/5 One of those books I couldn't put down. However I kept waiting for a twist and there really never was one. I thought it was pretty predictable. HOWEVER, still a great book and I will probably read it again :)
Book 14:
4/5 Stars. SOOOO REFRESHING!!!! A lead character who wasn't completely hell bent on kicking ass OR the complete opposite, ridiculously stupid. Such a nice balance I read the whole thing in one day.
Book 15:
4/5 First cover to cover Holly Black (I couldn't finish Tithe. For some reason I have trouble with most faerie books...) and it was awesome. Little bit of a slow start, but I think any book where you introduce an entirely new reality (curse work in this case) is going to be like that. But I got really into it and read about 2/3 of it in one day.
So, somewhere along the way I forgot a few things, so these are really out of order. But thats ok.Book 16:
Book 17:
Book 18:
All three get 4/5 stars. This book has been on my list for almost two years, and boy am I glad I waited for all three to come out. I DEVOURED these books. So great! My first real zombie books, and I was very impressed. Loved the characters, and the plot, loved it all.
Book 19:
Book 20:
Book 21:
1+3 get 3/5, 2 gets 4/5. Really the only reason I got these was because everything else I wanted at the library had a hold list for it. But I love modern books that take place in this era. The main was a little too predictable for me, but all and all a solid series. Probably wont re-read.
Book 22:
3/5. Am I the only one super dissapointed with this one? I bought the first mortal instruments book about a week after it was first published, and have read that series multiple times. But this one was a major let down. Part of what I loved about the series was it was more unpredictable then most other books in this genre. But this one was just not up to par. Idk what it is, but really made me sad.
Book 23:
5/5 Love, love love. Haven't decided if I will count this as a book or not since it was so short, I think it will depend on how close I am to my goal at the end of the year lol!
Woah its been awhile. Heres what I have read lately.Book 28:
4/5. Felt the end was a little too cheesy for my taste.
Book 29:
5/5. Something about reading Chris Crutcher just makes me feel whole inside. If you hadn't had a chance to check out some of his books, I highly recommend all of them.
Book 30:
Book 31:
Book 32:
Book 33:
Book 34:
Book 35:
Book 36:
All get 4/5 stars. Quick reads for sure, read the whole series in about 2 days. Why it never occurred to me to see if Roswell was based on a book is beyond me. That series is next in line.
Book 37:
4/5 stars. Loved it.
Ok, so my book challenge count doesn't match this one. So I am going to try and figure this out. Bare with me and this super long post.Book 1

5/5 Can't wait for the movies to start. Hoping they will go the way of HP and be awesome instead of taking the Twilight route.book46
3/5. Am I the only one who thinks Kathy Reichs characters are super un-relatable? I tried reading some of her Temprence Brennan books before Bones started to suck so much, and I couldn't even finish one. Maybe its just me...book47
3/5. Don't know if I will read the next one. Way too predictable.book48
5/5. The only complaint is that it was super open ended. But I guess that's why its a series right?book49
3/5. One of my Powell's purchases. Was a pretty good book. Didn't fall in love with it, didn't hate it either. Won't see the movie tho, because the characters are way different then the actors/actresses. Hate that.book50
2/5. This book... where to start. I was intrigued by the idea of Beauty and the Beast retold in a new era, but it wasn't that. It was Beauty and the Beast. Period. No new twists or turns, nothing. Also I bought the edition with the characters from the movie on the front, because it was cheaper and WTF! He looks nothing like the story! He is bald for crying out loud, not covered in hair like in the book. The awesome make up from the movie posters are what drew me to the book and it was totally untrue to the book. Grrr.
I also worry about the Hunger Games movie. The characters worry me. Peeta and Gale. After seeing Jennifer as Katniss though I felt better.
Gale makes me more nervous than Peeta. While the guy they picked for Peeta isn't who I envisioned, he still has that super likeable quality about him that is so much a part of Peeta's character in the book. So I've got my fingers crossed!book51
I waited a few weeks to read this one, because I didn't want the series to end! Overall I think it was a great wrap up to this series. Just a few knit picks here and there, but I don't want to post any spoilers :)book52
Ok. So. When I first finished this book I thought it was EXTREMELY disappointing. Probably because I am a Grave shipper, but mostly because I thought this was the last book in the series. When I got on goodreads and saw there is another one coming out in Nov, I quickly realized that I loved it. Her characters are soooo relatable it makes her books so vivid and real, even when she is shanking suckers and zombies. Can't wait for the next one!
I don't think this question is a spoiler...In the end did she pick who you were rooting for or were you not rooting for anyone?
The other guy. But the thing I love about this series, is I actually liked both guys, where normally I can't stand one of them, so I was okay with it. Book53
5/5. LOVE THIS BOOK! Kind of weird that the two I picked for this week where both set in Seattle area, which is where I live. I still think that Hold Me Closer Necromancer is my favorite book representation of Seattle I have read, this one was really great as well. Also, If I was a fictional character, I would probably be "daytime emily". Book54
5/5. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Everything. Not a bad word to say about it. I just noticed my count is off by one book, so let me see if I can find the book that is missing......
Me too. But the way he acted in the last book I was leaning toward the guy she picks. Have you seen them in entertainment weekly?
I haven't! Googling now! Also, I know I am way behind now. I blame having a job. But its time to buckle down if I am going to meet this goal! Lets goooooooooooo.
book55
4/5. Fun fairytale.book56
3/5. Eh. I was excited about the concept, left wanting with the executionbook57
5/5. Cate Tiernan is magic. Period.book58
4/5 I don't get into "real life" books a whole lot, because whats the point? I live in real life, books should be an escape you know? Anyway... Nancy Werlin's book are one of my few exceptions. book59
5/5 it is kind of killing me inside this is a stand alone. Soooo good.book60
5/5 Read this in 3.5 hours. Loved it to pieces. these next three I actually read awhile ago, but forgot to put dates on them till today:
book61
5/5 I mean come on its Sherlock Holmes. What isn't to love?book62
3/5. Glad I read it. Wont ever do it again.book63
3/5. Predictable. Most compelling character is gone by the end of the first chapter. Kinda eh all around.

First book:
4.5/5 Stars. Loved it, but thought it was a little too predictable. However, the BEST representation of Seattle I have ever read in a fiction book. Loved the characters, loved the story, loved it, loved it, loved it.
