I really do like Amos McGee and I'm pleased to see that one there. I need to look at the other two.
I am beyond happy with the selections, although there are a couple of other books that I would like to see honored. I think A Sick Day for Amos McGee was the most endearing book I have seen in many years. Interrupting Chicken is incredibly cute and funny, and my 8 year-old LOVES it. Neither our city our county library has a copy of it, so I finally bought a copy from Amazon, and am very glad I did. The artwork is perfect for the story, and i liked Dave the Potter: Artist, Poet, Slave was very well done, and I had it on my list, but at #33.
