I've decided to get a fresh start to the new year by creating a new topic. I know, I know, it's been two weeks since the year started, but 2/52 really isn't that many.

I know that I'll be super busy with school this year, and I'll be busy over the summer too, so I'm not really sure if I should even give myself goals, because chances are, I won't meet them.

So, I think that I'll just update you guys on my progress every so often. Then, I'll see where I end up.

That sounds exactly like what I'm going to do. Nice to see you again, Roni. :D I'm gonna try and get us a new picture tonight. I completely forgot about changing over to a new year- until I got here and our group name was "Write in 2011."

Haha, yeah, I forgot too. I haven't been a very good moderator lately.

I haven't written much yet, except some journal-type things. I discovered this really cool site, it's http://750words.com

Basically, you write 750 words every day. I haven't been keeping up too well, but I'll remember every few days. I hope that I can develop a habit by february, because I signed up for the challenge to write every day that month.

Good luck with that. I'd love to do something like that, but it's a huge commitment on my part. I never really know when I'm going to have time to do stuff.

Well, the ultimate goal is to write that much every day and you get points for it, but you don't have to. I will in February though! Because I signed up for a one month challenge.

Kritika (spidersilksnowflakes) | 465 comments Good luck with your writing! 750 words every day takes a lot of determination, especially if you're drowning in homework or other things. Hopefully you'll manage :)

I didn't write a single thing in February? Probably because I was completely swamped with school... two major research and planning-filled essays for Lit and History is a bit draining. So I guess I actually wrote quite a lot, just not outside of school.

So... school has made me pretty much forget about this group. I'm a pretty terrible mod, even though I started the group. Oh well. I haven't thought much about GR at all lately. I used to spend so much time on here. I kind of miss it.

I haven't been writing anything lately. Actually, no, that's not true. I wrote a short story in spanish. I didn't finish it. It was about a girl who wanted to climb a big tree and had a cat named Manzañita, which means little apple. I think. I just took the word for apple and added the suffix that means little onto the end. So it's not really a word.

I've also been working on editing my nano. Two stories left to edit, and about a week left to order from createspace. I've decided on the title From Seashell to Seashell. Unless I think of a better one.

Kritika (spidersilksnowflakes) | 465 comments Haha your Spanish story sounds adorable! Whenever we have to write stories for French, I always land up writing something very stupid because of my very limited vocabulary.

It will get better, I promise. My vocabulary is highly limited in Spanish, and still pretty limited in French, but I can manage.

Well, I seem to be writing less and less this year. I didn't even write consistently throughout nano. I wrote 35-40k in the last week.
