The Lost Hero discussion

((I don't know what this would go under because we only have a cabin roleplay folder!)) :) Twilight fell upon the camp and all campers were gathered around the campfire. All campers were sitting according to cabin except for a few exceptions and chatting excitedly. You see they don't have camfires every night, only once or twice a week, but when chiron called this one tonight he seemed espeacially nervous. As soon as the chatter died chiron spoke " I have called this meeting to order becaus we have some new campers among us today." Everyone glanced at piper, jason, and leo all sitting next to chiron. Then ... (complete the sentence)

everyone's eyes turned to a small girl emerging from the woods. she stood silently next to chiron. her face was beautiful, but scary. "this is ariel." Chiron said gestuing towads the girl. She had dark black hair that flowed a little past her shoulder, in small waves.

Her eyes were a dazzling blue and her skin was flawless, for a second everyone fell silent, then all the aphrodite girls went over to her and started talking to her, even drew, though she still had "I'm senior councelor, don't mess with me" written all over her face. I guess we know what cabin she'll be sleepin in. Then chiron decided it was time to move on, his deep voice rung through out the camfire "Slience" and everyone instantly quieted down, he continued "... (finish the sentence) ..

"this is a unique condition. She has been claimed, as a daughter of venus(aphrodite), and adopted daughter of Diana(artemis)" Jason looks at her again. "Ariel...?"

(Jason and Piper in are in the infirmary from the accident. But we'll let them be there because they are doing well, so they get a break. :))

"...are you from the Roman camp?" he asked. She looked strangely familiar as if he had seen her before.

Ariel's eyes got a michevoius look in them "really jason. I thought you would have remembered me after my sister's broke your arm."

Then jason stopped himself, he just imagined himself askng ariel a question he hadn't actually done it and aiel hadn't replied. God, what had he just imgained?

"Jason...?" Ariel whispered his name quietly, and slowly walked towards him. "You broke a rule, got to close, and you almost lost your arm for it. Reyna came to your rescue just in time."
"Reyna..." Jason looked almost in pain, as if he wanted so badly to remember but just couldn't

Piper looked at him. She saw his emotions flitting across his face. He was thinking about Mystery Girl, Reyna again. Why did she have a bad feeling that she was her rival for Jason's heart? She pulled her hand away and stared into the fire.

Jason turned to her. "Are you okay, Pipe?" Piper didn't look up. "Yeah. Just tired, I'm going back to the infirmary. See ya." She got up and left, Jason staring after her.

"wow jason, it looks like you've managed to break three hearts" Ariel smirked

"Shut up." Jason said. "I know we've met. But I can't think right now. Just leave me alone." He stood and followed Piper.

Everyone's eyes turned towards the forest at the sound of a cracking twig. Emerging from the forest were 2 figures. Most recognized Sasha from the Apollo cabin, but she was walking with a new boy. A very cute new boy. They walked into the circle and they went and stood next to Ariel. "hey guys, this is Dylan." Sasha introduced him trying to hold back a smile, but not quite managing.

Erica followed Sasha a few minutes later after finishing up in the stables. she wasn't surprised to see all the girls gawking over Dylan. "He must be an aphrodite kid." she approached Sasha. "Hey. So... is he Ariel's sister or something? they look similar. Are they Aphrodite?"

"uh, yeah he's her brother. And actually, it's Venus."

"Uh, Sasha. I thought you are greek, so it's Aphrodite. Or are u roman?"

(Venus is aphrodite right?)

(Yeah)
"ok, u know how Jason is technically a son of Jupitor, right? Well Ariel and Dylan are son and daughter of Venus."

Piper had said she was going to the infarmary but instead she went to edge of the hill and sat down. Jason who was a few paces behind sat down beside her. He said, "Are you okay?" with a deep worry etched into his words.Piper replied "I'm fine" with hostility in her voice. Jason said, "You're thinking about the girl Ariel mentioned, reyna aren't you?" with a mischevious smile on her face. She nodded. He said "Look, I have no idea who she is. I barely remember Ariel" Then piper said "really?" and he replied "really.". When he looked into her eyes she stared straight into his . ...

Jason took Pipers hand. "Pipe, I don't remember who Reyna is, or how she was in my life. I don't know if I liked her at all. But I do know....that...that I really like you."

Piper melted, "I like you to Jason."

((we are not going to RP their first kiss, we have no right. That all belongs to RR) :)

"Jason? Piper?" A voice called from down the hill. They turned to see Carynn, daughter of Hera looking at them. "Oh it's you." Piper said.

Carynn smiled, "Sorry to interrupt, but I just need to make sure you and Jason were okay, and you are at the infirmary tonight."

Piper stood. "It's fine. We were just coming." Carynn raised her eyebrows. "Okay then. You are fine. But since I haven't let you go yet, you need to be in by 8:30. I gotta run now. See ya in a bit." She turned and left.

"Okay." Piper called. "So, Jason. I'm gonna go check on Thalia at the Lake. Wanna come?"

Jason stood, "Love to."

(Jason and Piper are now in the Lake Topic)

(back at campfire)
"Uh, I can show you too to your cabin, if you'd like." Sasha siad to break the awkward silence. "that would be a nice idea, sasha. I think everyone needs a good night's rest." Chrion is always extremely helpful. "Why don't you take Ariel to the Artemis cabin and the aprhrodite kids ca take Dylan." Maybe not.

(is ariel a hunter?)

Abigail, an aphrodite girl stood. "I'll take dylan!"

(yes, Diana is the roman version of Artemis. so being a hunter of Diana, is like being a Hunter of Artemis)

(kk, so I guess Ariel can show up at the artemis cabin now. )

Aliana saw all the campers surrounding the campfire and she immediately got butterflies ((she doesn't do well in crowds)), but she held her head high and walked staight into the group.

((the q's are fine =) and the claiming doesn't matter. If you want u can do it here. But if she's over 13 she should already be claimed. but as TLH proves. there's exceptions.))
Juliette(one of the nicer aphrodite girls) walks over to Aliana and introduces herself. "hey I'm juliette, daughter of Aphrodite, are you claimed yet?

"Yes. I'm Aliana, daughter of Apollo," she said wondering how this was going to work. "I'm new, and completely lost, do you have anything like a map? I'm really bad with directions..." she trailed off, there was so much she wanted to ask but she didn't want to scare off Juliette, she seemed nice.

Karri (Apollo) having overheard approached Aliana. "Hi Aliana. I'm Karri. I'm Apollo as well. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" she turned to Juliette, "Juli, I think you might want to get back to your cabin and make sure Dylan made it there okay. You know Abi."

"oh, yeah. thanks. I would show you around myself Aliana, but... My sister can be a little eccentric... I better go welcome the new kid in my cabin." And with that she ran off towards the Aphrodite cabin.

"Hi Karri, thanks for the welcome! Can you tell me where our cabin is... Someone did say we have a cabin right?? Sorry I get confused really easily..." she trailed off, she didn't want someone from her own cabin--no she needed to start thinking correctly, her own FAMILY-- to think she was a freak. She took a deep breath, this was only her first day after all she didn't have to learn and perfect everything at once.
((so I'm trying to make her have more quirks like you said like not liking being in crowds, easily confused, perfectionist... How am I doing?? and be honest if I'm doing terribly tell me))

Jessica came and sat at the Hermes table. No one else was there at her table, but she didn't mind....too much. She served herself with chicken and rice and started eating.

Alice smiled as she saw the campfire.Camp half-blood was one place she had refused to go to.She looked at the campers.They were so happy.Why couldn't she feel that way.She was always so awkward in crowds.It was like she had a sign above her head that said 'I'm a loser!Get away from me!' This time she would try harder.Or would it just be easier to leave camp again?She never felt like she fit in.I mean,she just liked being alone.

(Okay Jessica so dinner is after weaponry right?)

Helen came and sat down next to Jessica at the Hermes table. "Hello again! Sorry no one is here. They went off somewhere. I think they went off to welcome all the new people."

Karri smiled, "Yeah we have a cabin. Come on." KArri walked off and led Aliana to a nice cabin she opened the door and showed her inside. "EVERYONE! This is Ali! She's new (transfer to Apollo Cabin for more RP Katie!)

Holli approached the campfire. She was glad her quest would be delayed for a few days. She noticed Alice standing apart from the rest. She approached her. "Hello. I'm Holli, head couselor of Athena. Are you new? Who is your parent?"

Evelyn approaches the campfire looking slightly shy.

Holli sees her. "Hi! It;s Evelyn right? you are in Athena right?"

Yes I'm Evelyn, and I'm in Athena. It's Holli, right?

Holli smiled, "Yes. this is Alice. She just arrived at Camp today as well."

Oh hi Alice. I'm Evelyn.

((Everyone, so it's evening currently in all RP, so let's start getting ready for the next day. Aaron and I have something cool planned, some of you probably know if you've looked in the right topic(no hints). So start working your way to cabins and beds and then we'll call lights out! please signify by being in your cabin saying. i'm done or whatever.))

Kestra rolled her shoulder as she walked by some posiden kids. she popped her neck and headed to her cabin, taking care that no one saw which one.

Holli smiled at her fellows cabin mates, Eve and ALice. "Well I'm turning in. See you!"

(Holli is now in Athena Cabin)

Helen smiled at Jessica and stood, "It's really nice meeting you Jessica, but I've had a long day, so I'm heading off to bed now. Nice meeting you. Se ya in a bit!"

(Helen is now in the Hermes cabin)
