Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments I'm trying to get a list together of historical romance novels that take place during the 1920's. With the music, and the flappers etc, I can't believe I'm having a such a hard time finding hr novels for this era! Here's what I've been able to come up with so far:

Vixen (Flappers, #1) by Jillian Larkin Moonshine by Alaya Dawn Johnson

Moonshine looks good & I marked at TBR.

Strong Spirits by Alice Duncan High Spirits (Five Star Expressions) by Alice Duncan Hungry Spirits by Alice Duncan Though Waters Roar by Lynn Austin Torch Song by Valerie Kirkwood A Woman of the World by Genie Chipps Henderson Malice Domestic 10 (Malice Domestic, #10) by Nevada Barr

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) Hum, I have a nice mystery series set in the 20's. Death at Wentwater Court is the first book. There IS a romantic angle, and this is definately a cozy. Plus of course, Daisy (the heroine) does some match-making along the way.

That one sounds good! I've added it to my tbr list.

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments Ingenue by Jillian Larkin will be released sometime during the summer. I can hardly wait. It's book 2 in Jillian Larkin's Flapper series.

Ingenue (Flappers, #2) by Jillian Larkin

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 752 comments The Phryne Fisher books by Kerry Greenwood are set in late 20's Australia. But there's really no romance at all in as Phryne like to play around.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Hey all! I just heard about this book Girl in the Beaded Mask by Amanda McCabe set in the 1920s. Here is a GoodReads review from a GR friend: Jill's Review of GIBM. She mentions other books from this era at the end.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments This one takes place in the 20's: The Bad Behavior of Belle Cantrell The Bad Behavior of Belle Cantrell A Novel by Loraine Despres . I haven't read it, but it's been on my wishlist ever since I read The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc by Loraine Despres (which takes place in the 50's if I remember right) a few years back. That one was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was funny, and I couldn't put it down, I remember reading it all in one day.
