So who is your favorite Alpha Male hero in literature, movies and TV? Okay, you can list more than one but not more than 10! lol

Alpha male.... 1. Zsadist
Top hero, not necessarily Alpha...
2. Christian from Flowers from the Storm
3. Ian from The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
I could sit here and name about 50 or more but I narrowed it down to these...Daegus - The Dark Highlander
Sebastian - Devil in Winter
Marcus - It happened In Autumn
Julian - Hard Evidence
Marc - Unlawful Contact
Sam - Mr Perfect
Without at doubt my favorite alphas are the Marcus - It Happened One Autumn
Sebastian - Lord of Scoundrels
Devlin - Devil Takes a Bride
Vane - Night Play
Zachary - Where Dreams Begin
I'll stop there for now, but I will say that to make my favs list alphas have to have a dash of beta and show a little gentleness and vulnerability.;-)
Lady D, I just took a peek at
last night (I have it as a planned "buddy read") and ended up reading three chapters. Ooops! Sooooo good!
I loved Dragon Bound ...... When does Storms Heart come out. I LOVE when a Hero is in pursuit of the heroin right from the beginning.
Oh goodie, the person I was going to "buddy read" another book with is willing to jump to
. I don't have to give up Dragos Cuelebre just yet. :)You both gave it 5 stars! Super!

Oh Goody....thats not to long. Thanks Lisa.
I have to say that the best and favorite Alpha hero from the TV series: Doctor Who is Rory Williams. He waited for a thousand years for his girlfriend and plus he never gave up and loved her like crazy and plus they are the cutest couple because it never goes beyond kissing and loving each other...enough said for now.
Horatio Hornblower all day long. Strongly moral, plagued with doubt yet resolute when called to action. Lover warrior poet. Brilliant
It is hard for me to choose, as there are so many great alpha heroes, but I have to admit that my favorite alpha heroes are the ones in the midgnight breed series by Lara Adrian, I especially loved the first one Lucan Thorne, he got me hooked.
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "Good one, Ian ☺ Never read the books but I remember seeing something with him in it."There's a series starring iuann griffiths based on the first two books. However there are about 10 books featuring Hornblower, so I'm hopeful they'll make more.
The Master and Commander series with the fascinating relationship of Aubrey and Maturin is also a great read. The two of them together would make a fascinating man. It really develops with each book and you can almost hear the wind and smell the sea. Brilliant

Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "Kretch wrote: "It is hard for me to choose, as there are so many great alpha heroes, but I have to admit that my favorite alpha heroes are the ones in the midgnight breed series by Lara Adrian, I e..."Oh you should, once you read one you get hooked and will have to read them all.
Roarke, anyone? From J.D. Robb's In Death series. Can't get enough of his doting on Eve!I second Zsadist and Julian (Hard Evidence).

Just finished
yesterday, and had to listen to the novella
right after.
Oh, Julian, baby. And Marc, Gabe and Zach. And Iain and Morgan and Connor. *sigh* Pamela Clare writes great heroes!

Just finished [bookcover:Betrayal in Death..."
They're addicting, aren't they? You have to have a few lined up and some time on your hands to get your fix :P
Yes, Gopinotes, I accidentally erased a couple that I downloaded to my iPod/Touch from the library and then had to be put back on the "waitlist" for them all over again! Eep!
Lisa Kay wrote: "Yes, Gopinotes, I accidentally erased a couple that I downloaded to my iPod/Touch from the library and then had to be put back on the "waitlist" for them all over again! Eep!"Oh no! Waiting's the worst. I'm also twiddling my thumbs in the library waitlist line, waiting on Remember When. I'm trying to find something more "available" to read while I wait.
And yes, UniquelyMoi, you can't go wrong with Pamela Clare!
Roarke's wonderful. I'm reading Linnea Sinclair's Gabriel's Ghost right now and Sullivan (Gabriel) is really working for me. I have a tendency to "love the one I'm with." :>). I've only read about Zsadist, haven't gotten to his story yet, but I think he might be a favorite, too.
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "I'm reading about Zsadist now. A real tortured soul. Love him."I've only read the first book in the series and was introduced to him. I was immediately taken with Zsadist. Please tell. E his book lives up to my fantasies!
I would have to say I actually prefer betas and my favorite beta is
But, you didn't ask that. :)
My favorite Alphas
I love me a few pretty good betas but I tend to love the alpha more for some reason. I'd hate em in real life though.
My Favorite AlphasMatthew Farrell- Paradise
Mitchell Wyatt- Every breath you take
Devil Cynster- Devil's Bride
Hardy Cates- Blue-Eyed Devil
Royce- Mastered by Love
Wrath - Dark LoverTy - Lady Luck
Joe - At Peace
Dare - When You Dare
Brock - Wild Man
Bones - One Foot in the Grave
My list can go on & on......
I just read Wild Man. I liked him but he's not my fave KA hero so far. I'm reading Mitch's story and he's hooking me pretty good so far. But I'm not done so....

Is Lock really a beta? I think he falls outside of any hierarchy but that's because I'm partial to him :D
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "I just read Wild Man. I liked him but he's not my fave KA hero so far. I'm reading Mitch's story and he's hooking me pretty good so far. But I'm not done so...."I really liked Mitch too...but there is something about Brock (even though he was with that skank Darla in MM, I forgive him.....in fantasyland anyway LOL).
Dorsey, that was a hard one for me. I mean, Darla? Really? EEWWWW! But I forgave Brock for it. There was something about Mitch that just drew me in.I'll be going back to the Colorado Mountain series here shortly. I've read Max and Nina's story and loved it.
My two favourite alpha heros are Jamie Fraser from Outlander and Rourke from In Death. Gorgeous, clever and loyal, sigh and those accents, double sigh...Favourite bad boy/dirty weekend: Jericho Barrons from KMM Fever series. Mysterious, sorta scary and sexy as hell.
Favourite Tortured Hero: Zsadist from BDB... Lover Awakened... I actually cried when he finally opened up to Bella.
Of course, there's many more.... again sigh
